    摘要: The simple and economical pressure proportioning regulator valve can maintain a constant pressure ratio of the pressure at its inlet (13) to the pressure in its outlet duct (14), especially during negative pressure changes at the inlet (13). The pressure proportioning regulator valve has a valve housing (11) provided with a throughgoing passage (12) having an inlet (13) and an outlet duct (14); a valve gate (22) in the throughgoing passage (12) having a pressing surface (43) acted on by a pressure at the inlet (13) and another pressing surface (44) acted on by a pressure in the outlet duct (14); a device for reducing both pressures while maintaining their pressure ratio including a first control edge (29) arranged on the valve gate (22) between the inlet (13) and the outlet duct (14) and a device for controlling a flow of a pressurized medium between the outlet duct (14) and the return duct (15) including a second control edge (30) provided on the control member (23) of the valve gate (22). This rapidly reacting pressure proportioning regulator valve (10) does not have a valve spring and thus is not subjected to wear and/or fatigue in the course of its life.

The output of the pump or motor is changed by varying the axis of rotation of the rotor relative the axis of rotation of the rotary shaft assembly. A pair of counter rotating eccentrics are used to smoothly vary the axis of rotation of the rotor along a plane which is common to the axis of rotation of the rotor and the axis of rotation of the shaft assembly. The output of the pump/motor can be varied smoothly between a maximum in a first direction, to zero, to a maximum in a an opposite direction, and back again.

    摘要: A rotary fluid pressure device is disclosed of the type including housing means defining a fluid inlet (57) and a fluid outlet (61) and including some form of rotary fluid energy-translating displacement mechanism associated with the housing. In one embodiment of the invention, the displacement mechanism comprises a gerotor gear set (17) including a housing member (22), an internally-toothed ring (23), and an externally-toothed star (27). Included is a free-wheeling mechanism (71) having an engagement member (73) and an actuation means (81) operable to move the engagement member between first and second positions. In a first position, the engagement member (73) prevents rotational movement of the ring (23) and the star (27) has its normal and orbital rotational movement to define expanding (28) and contracting (29) fluid volume chambers. In a second position, the engagement member (73) permits the ring (23) to rotate freely and the star (27) and ring (23) rotate together such that the fluid volume chambers neither expand nor contract and no fluid is displaced from the displacement mechanism.

    摘要: A fluid machine, particularly a hydraulic pump, has a high pressure side and a low pressure side. A rotor or a pair of cooperating gears are mounted for rotation and have spaced end faces extending transversely of their respective axes of rotation. Walls define at each of these end faces at least one fluid compartment which is open to the respective end face and which communicates via a restricted outflow gap with the low pressure side of the machine, and via a conduit with the high pressure side of the machine. In each conduit a throttle is interposed, and the end faces are subjected from the respective compartments to fluid pressures which permanently tend to equalize with one another, and which therefore tend to axially center the rotor or gears in the event of axial displacement thereof.

    摘要: A constant delivery rotary pump includes a rotor which rotates in a pumping chamber formed in an inner member and which carries round with it a set of pumping elements engaging the wall of the chamber and moving radially with respect to the rotor to perform a pumping action. The inner member is mounted in an outer member for sliding movement parallel to the line of action of the resultant of the fluid pressure acting in the pumping chamber. The outer member is fixed with respect to the axis of rotation of the rotor. A spring resists movement of the inner member relative to the outer member due to said resultant, and damped control means is provided for controlling in dependence on the pump delivery pressure the position of the inner member in its sliding movement. The control means includes a pair of wedge elements which are mounted side by side on their bases in the outer member and each of which has an apex in engagement with an inclined cam surface on the exterior of the inner member. The spring causes the inner member to rotate the wedge elements on to their bases, whilst the pump delivery pressure is applied between the elements and tends to rotate them about the outer side edges of their bases thereby moving the inner member against the spring force to control the pump delivery pressure.
