摘要: The disclosure presents a composite conduit formwork structure which includes a cylindrical outer casing adapted to bond with a cylindrical inner casing which are maintained at a fixed distance apart by a plurality of radial stanchions. The inner casing and outer casing form an interior void which is filled with concrete during manufacture. The outer casing and inner casing remain in place to protect the structure once completed. A novel method of assembly is also provided whereby radial stanchions are rotated between the outer casing and inner casing. All of the components in a preferred embodiment are formed of a fiberglass material.

摘要: A sleeve for forming a channel through a concrete slab is described herein. The sleeve includes a sleeve body with top and bottom ends extending along a longitudinal axis, wherein the top end is wider than the bottom end. The sleeve includes an attachment flange attached to the bottom end that extends laterally outward with respect to the longitudinal axis. The attachment flange may be secured to a concrete form. An alternative sleeve has an attachment mechanism protruding from the first end of the sleeve body for facilitating the attachment of the sleeve body to a concrete form. In some embodiments, the sleeve can also include a removal mechanism disposed at the second end of the sleeve body to facilitate removal of the sleeve body from the concrete slab. Various sleeve configurations are described, some of which are reusable and some of which are one-time use only.

摘要: The disclosure is directed to a method and system for securing a shoring deck to a column. The method includes providing a first beam bracing against a column, wherein the first beam is disposed at a first longitudinal axis that is perpendicular to a long axis of the column. The method includes coupling the first beam to first and second deck beams of a plurality of deck beams of a shoring deck. The method also includes providing a second beam bracing against the column and coupling the second beam to third and fourth deck beams of the plurality of deck beams. The method further includes positioning the first and second beams with respect to the column such that respective first and second longitudinal axes through the respective first and second beams are aligned at an acute angle with respect to each other.

The chords of each pair of chords are rigidly attached, and connector members intermediate the ends are each swivelly attached to each of the chords of each chord pair to effect the folding into a compact shape for transport and storage. The connector members are adapted for attachment to beams or connector members thereof which beams may extend between a parallel pair of the trusses.

The central shaft may extend between a first end plate and a second end plate. Each end plate may define an aperture that aligns with an interior cavity of the central shaft. The plurality of support bars may extend from the central shaft and the second end plate. The seat and seat support plate may each be circumferentially disposed about the central shaft and define apertures that are sized to allow the seat and the seat support plate to pass over the central shaft and the plurality of support bars. The seat may be configured to support one or more beams. The seat support plate may be disposed between the seat and the second end plate.

摘要: A shoring system for concrete slabs is disclosed. One such system includes a drop head with a beam support member which can be moved between lower and upper positions, and a wedge member which locks the beam support member in its upper position by a translational, sliding movement thereof. Wedge member includes a narrower toe portion and a wider heel portion, and the toe portion is insertable past corresponding engagement surfaces on the post of the drop head, to support the wedge member in its upper position. The beam support member has a lower surface engaged by the wedge member and such lower surface is longitudinally spaced from the upper surface of the beam support member, so that there is open space between the wedge member and the bottom surfaces of beam supported by the upper surface of the beam support member.

The edge supports and the central support run preferably parallel to one another. The invention further relates to a ceiling formwork comprising such a ceiling table (10).
