摘要:
The modularized structure framing system is disclosed incorporating a plurality of quad wall modules, a plurality of single wall modules, a plurality of double wall module, a plurality of window modules, and a plurality of door modules. Each module is,made using conventional 2″×4″ building materials. Endpieces of conventional 1″×4″ building materials allow modules to be aligned together during construction while still maintaining standard dimensionality. A plurality of alignment tools are provided for installation of the modules. These include a corner alignment tool having a 90 degree angle and a 1.25 inch wide by 3.55 inch deep groove running throughout, a wall straightness tool also having a 1.25 inch wide by 3.55 deep groove running throughout, and a “T”-shaped the wall alignment tool having a 1.25 inch wide by 3.55 deep groove running throughout.

A log facade. A siding facade member is attached to a wall of the structure and extends to a corner thereof. A side of the siding member is formed as a portion of a semi-cylinder, giving the illusion that the siding member is part of a whole log. A corner member is attached to the corner of the structure and includes a round side surface that simulates the cross-section of a whole log. The siding facade member has an end that is received by the corner member, so as to cover an edge thereof, giving the illusion that the siding facade member is interlocked with the corner member without requiring that the edge be specially shaped to fit the round side surface.

A wall strengthening component for a building construction, the building construction having a plurality of spaced apart vertical studs within a frame of a building wall or the like, the wall strengthening component includes first and second vertical support members disposed in a spaced apart relationship and a plurality of reinforcing members disposed between the first and second vertical support members. The reinforcing members are configured to resist lateral stress directed against the vertical support members such that the position of the first vertical support member is maintained relative to the position of the second vertical support member. The reinforcing members are configured in a truss-like arrangement forming triangular shaped portions between the vertical support members. The wall strengthening components configured to be operatively placed between adjacent vertical studs within the frame of the building wall or the like and is fastened to the building or the frame of the building wall at opposite vertical ends of the first and second vertical support members. If fabricated from several parts, the parts may be joined together by welds, crimps, screws, rivets, press-fit, chemical adhesive, and the like. The wall strengthening component may also be formed by molding, casting, stamping, and extrusion processes or may be fabricated as a solid monolithic form or a solid monolithic form having a plurality of apertures disposed therein.

A shear wall panel for a building has a rectangular frame of vertical and horizontal members. Inside of the rectangular frame, at least four diagonal members are joined at their ends to create a multi-segmented assembly having at least three vertices and first and second ends and preferably forming a polygon, one of the at least three vertices secured to each of the vertical and an upper horizontal members, the first and second ends secured to a lower horizontal member. The members are preferably of wood and connected together with toothed plates. A lower horizontal member is shear connected to a foundation or laterally stabilized wall or floor below the shear wall panel. Upper strap connectors attach the upper horizontal member to a roof, floor or wall of the building. The upper strap connectors comprises metal straps, a first portion of which have teeth bent out of the metal strap, a second portion of which have holes for nailing through the metal strap into the roof, floor or wall of the building.

The present invention relates to a stud (1) intended for a timber wall and a method for manufacturing the stud (1). The stud (1) constitutes a part of a wooden frame on which, for example, plaster board panels (12) are secured in order to form the wall. The stud (1) is provided with at least two longitudinal grooves (6, 7) made alternatingly from opposing sides (2, 3) of the stud (1). Each individual groove (6, 7) is wholly open towards that side (2, 3) it was made from. Each groove (6, 7) moreover displays openings (10, 11) in the opposite side (2, 3) and portions (8, 9) with residual material between the openings (10, 11). Each longitudinal groove (6, 7) is thus alternatingly through-going and alternatingly not through-going.
