摘要： A connector for use with a disposable flexible liner installed in a basin to contact liquid is provided to bridge between an overflow opening provided in the liner and an overflow aperture provided in an upright wall of the basin, so that when liquid containable in an interior volume of the basin exceeds a prescribed height, the liquid is enabled to drain out of the interior volume through the liner at the communicated openings/apertures. A conduit formed by the connector for insertion into the basin to bridge between the communicated openings/apertures is arranged for a friction fit in an overflow throat extending from the overflow aperture defined in the basin. A related method for using a replaceable liner in a basin having an overflow aperture is also disclosed.

摘要： A bathtub drain flange assembly includes a tubular drain flange fitting that has a radially-extending flange on an upper end and male threads on a lower end. A support structure in the lower end of the drain flange has an oversized or larger-than-normal opening, which is usually threaded. A reducing bushing is received in the opening and has a threaded bore that is one of a number of different sizes for receiving a plumbing device such as a drain stopper, a strainer or a drain cover. A bathtub drain flange kit includes a drain flange with a larger-than-maximum-standard size for an opening in the drain flange and two or more reducing bushings that fit properly in the opening and become fastened to the drain flange, where each of the reducing bushings provides a threaded bore that is a standard size for receiving a plumbing device.

The seal insert includes a second tubular body, a second disk top, and an annular self-sealing mechanism. The second disk top is terminally and perimetrically connected to the second tubular body. The seal insert is mounted within the outer cover. The self-sealing mechanism is positioned adjacent to a bottom end of the second tubular body and is concentrically mounted to the second tubular body.

摘要： A standing water alert system comprises two conductive wires or a float extending into a drain and connected to an audible or visual alarm that is triggered when standing water is present. A drain alert system and method comprises a plurality of sensors, such as pressure or acoustic/vibration sensors, at various locations within a plumbing or fluid filtration system to measure pressure or an acoustic profile at that location and a control system to compare the measured parameters to a threshold value or range and/or to other measured parameters from nearby sensor locations. A signal is sent to a remote user or computer or an alarm is triggered when the comparison shows a potential blockage, a leak, or indicating that a filter needs to be replaced or cleaned. An approximate location of the blockage, leak, or fouled filter is determined by comparing measured parameters at nearby sensor locations.
