Abstract:
An illustrated view of a countertop protective device for preventing water from a faucet from damaging or marring a countertop is presented. The countertop protective device is useful for keeping the countertop clean. The countertop protective device is useful for preventing dirt and crud from gathering on a countertop. The countertop protective device is useful for protecting grout and/or caulk. The countertop protective device is good looking, while allowing a person to avoid constant wiping of the countertop.
Abstract:
A hair clippings collection system for collecting hair clippings includes a sink that may be manipulated in the convention of plumbed sinks. A shroud is selectively draped over the sink to capture hair clippings from shaving or the like. In this way the shroud inhibits the sink from being contaminated with the hair clippings. A pocket is coupled to the shroud to contain objects.
Abstract:
The beard-grooming clean up sheets involves a sheet member with a domed recess thereon. The domed recess is adapted to be positioned over a faucet of a sink in order to divert hair trimmings associated with personal grooming away from the faucet. Moreover, the domed recess is an adjunct of the sheet member. The sheet member is generally planar, and is adapted to be draped over the sink. Both the domed recess and the sheet member are surrounded with a plurality of sheet armatures that span outwardly with respect to the domed recess and the sheet member. The plurality of sheet armatures are adapted to engage counter surfaces surrounding the faucet and the sink. Moreover, adhering members is provided on a bottom surface of two opposing ones of the plurality of sheet armatures. The adhering members is adapted to temporarily secure the sheet member in place.
Abstract:
A cover for the surrounding surface adjacent a sink is provided having a body formed of flexible material. The body is configured with an aperture sized to surround the sink and shield a user from contact with the surrounding surface and the surrounding surface from a communication of liquid from use of the sink. The cover may be modular and formed of multiple components in removable engagements, or may be configured of a sheet of material which has removable portions to allow customization for positioning to an as used position surrounding the sink.
Abstract:
There are provided sanitary assemblies (101) comprising a toilet cistern (103) and conveying means, including a pump (107), for conveying waste water into said cistern (103) from an article of sanitary ware such that said waste water can be re-used. Also provided are toilet assemblies comprising such sanitary assemblies and methods for their use.
Abstract:
A sink and drain protector and rubbish collector for protecting the surface of a sink. The protector includes a plastic rectangular sheet having a perforated slit therein such that a faucet on the sink protrudes through the slit when the protector is placed in the sink basin. Further, the protector extends over an upper surface of the sink and partially covers an outer surface of the sink which depends from the upper surface.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a method and apparatus for preventing damage to drapes and to heating and cooling mechanisms used in conjunction with apparatus for containing and thermally treating sterile liquid, and to preserving the sterile field when using such apparatus. A surgical drape is combined with a sensor, preferably attached to the drape, to detect whether or not liquid is present in a drape container conforming to a heating/cooling basin. An alternative embodiment employs sensors at opposite surfaces of the drape to measure conductance and, thereby, leakage through the drape. A microprocessor in each embodiment receives a signal representing, for example, an electrical conductance measurement from the sensors and determines if liquid is present, or alternatively if the conductance is sufficient to represent the presence of a leak. If liquid is not present or a leak is determined to exist, the microprocessor disables a temperature controller for the basin to prevent damage to the drape and heating and cooling mechanisms.
Abstract:
A laminate cover member is provided for upgrading the appearance of a deteriorated drain hole or other surface of a sink or bath fixture. The cover member includes an upper layer which is resistant to corrosion and has an attractive visual appearance, a pressure sensitive adhesive layer, and a removable liner layer. The layers are diecut from stock laminate sheets. A preferred cover member, for upgrading the surfaces of a drain hole, has a metallized plastic upper layer, and is shaped with an outer annular portion that is adhered to the surface surrounding the drain hole, an inner annular hole, and a plurality of radial lines extending from an intermediate diameter to the inner annular hole, such that they can be bent downwardly to cover an inner part of the drain hole surface.
