The hydro cap head includes a securing structure configured to attach the hydro cap head to a piling having an internal cavity. 摘要: A method of installing a foundation (1) for a structure. The foundation body (2) has a toe (7) at its distal end which defines an aperture into an internal cavity (12) defined by an inner wall (8). Fluid is jetted from a plurality of nozzles (9) to direct fluid distally into the soil (5) ahead of the toe (7) during installation. A pump arrangement (13) controlled by a controller (16) is used to vary the quantity of fluid at a proximal end to thereby vary the fluid suspension pressure adjacent the toe (7) in a fluid communication channel (11) extending between the proximal end and the toe (7). The controller varies the fluid suspension pressure as the toe (7) inserts deeper into the soil (5) based on a target fluid suspension pressure as a function of toe depth.

摘要: Extensible shells and related methods for constructing a support pier are disclosed. An extensible shell can define an interior for holding granular construction material and define a first opening at a first end for receiving the granular construction material into the interior and a second opening at a second end. The extensible shell can be flexible such that the shell expands when granular construction material is compacted in the interior of the shell. A method may include positioning the extensible shell in the ground and filling at least a portion of the interior of the shell with the granular construction material. The granular construction material may be compacted in the interior of the extensible shell to form a support pier.

摘要: A caisson is modified to include side tabs thin can be gripped by side-mounted clamps on a vibratory hammer so that the caisson may be lifted into position from a horizontal position, oriented vertically, and driven into the ground without readjustment of the clamping of the vibratory hammer. An end cap installed permanently at the top of the caisson may provide an additional flange for receiving a lower clamp of the vibratory hammer to complete installation of the caisson, driving the caisson further into the earth until the tabs are buried in the ground. The flange may be sized to fit within a tower portion attached to the caisson eliminating the need for a replaceable flange system.

摘要: An interconnectable hollow metal pipe for the construction of force driven piles is described. A pipe connector is permanently secured to one of opposed open transverse ends of the hollow metal pipe for interconnecting like pipes together. The pipe connector has an inner fitment section for engagement in the one of opposed open end and a protruding pipe connecting section for tight sliding fit connection in the other hollow open end of another interconnectable hollow metal pipe. The pipe connector has securement formations which in combination with the pipe open end, to which it is connected to, forms at least two spaced-apart weld cavities with an outer surface of the pipe to receive therein a recessed weld which does not exceed the pipe outer surface to provide an unobstructed pile outer surface by two or more of the interconnectable hollow metal pipes interconnected end-to-end by the connectors.

The system comprises a tubular element and a deintensifier in fluid communication with the tubular element. The deintensifier is configured to be exposed to an ambient pressure external to the tubular element and reduce pressure within the tubular element. The method comprises lowering the tubular element to the bottom of the body of water, filling the tubular element with water at ambient pressure, and exposing the water within the tubular element to a deintensified external ambient pressure so as to withdraw the water out of the tubular element.
