摘要: A method for controlling carryover in a chemical recovery boiler. The method comprises feeding black or brown liquor to a furnace of the chemical recovery boiler through an injection gun to burn the black or brown liquor. The chemical recovery boiler comprises a bullnose, which narrows the furnace, and a first superheater, of which at least a part is arranged at a higher vertical level than the bullnose. The method comprises measuring information indicative of a spatial temperature distribution on a cross section of the furnace, wherein the cross section is above the injection gun and below the first superheater; determining primary information indicative of carryover using the information indicative of the spatial temperature distribution on the cross section of the furnace; and controlling a temperature of the black or brown liquor that is fed to the furnace using the primary information. In addition, a system for performing the method.

摘要: A chemical recovery boilers is described in which the primary air system is reconfigured to provide aggressive charbed control and improved combustion in the lower furnace. The fewest number of primary air ports are used on two opposing walls to generate powerful air jets that penetrate across the boiler providing physical and thermal stability to the charbed while increasing the heat release and combustion stability in the lower furnace, increasing reduction efficiency, and lowering carryover and emissions. Various embodiments are described including operating strategies and multi-level black liquor injection.

摘要: The present invention relates to a heat recovery system 10, 11, 12 for recovering heat from flue gas generated by combustion at a biomass plant installation. The heat recovery system 10, 11, 12 comprises a flue gas cooler 200 configured to receive flue gas 201 from a combustion and transfer heat from the flue gas 201 to feed water in a heat recovery fluid circuit101. The feed water in the heat recovery fluid circuit101 is taken from and returned to a feed water main system. The feed water main system could be provided with a feed water tank 100to which a heat recovery circuit inlet 112 and a heat recovery circuit outlet are connected. Further, the heat recovery system comprises a waste heat accumulator 300 configured to receive feed water, heated by flue gas 201 in a flue gas cooler 200, and cool by flashing the received feed water in order to generate flash steam, and the heat recovery system 10, 11, 12 comprises a control arrangement 533. Further, the present invention also relates to a method performed by the control arrangement for use in recovering heat from flue gas generated by combustion at a bio plant installation.

For example, the HWE derived liquor can be pre-treated prior to introduction into a combustion chamber. The pre-treatment can include subjecting HWE derived liquor to filtration to remove suspended solids, evaporation to produce a first stage concentrated HWE liquor; additional concentration to produce a second stage concentrated HWE liquor; additional filtration to remove additional suspended solids; and pre-heating to produce a preheated HWE liquor. The preheated HWE liquor can be atomized and combined with pre-heated combustion air supplied into a combustion chamber to effect combustion of the HWE derived liquor.

摘要: There is described a process for the recovering of inorganic chemicals of pulp and paper making processes (IC) and the production of biochemicals from black liquor (BL) using microwaves (MW) comprising: (a) filtration of BL to produce filtered BL, in a media, (b) drying of said filtered BL with MW in said media to produce dried BL, (c) pyrolysis of said dried BL with MW in said media to produce bio-oil, biogas, and solid residue, (d) recovering of said bio-oil, and (e) recovering of IC and biocarbon from said solid residue. The disclosed process does not require chemical additives compared to processes rely on precipitation of lignin to recover said IC. The disclosed process supports efficient, direct, and long-lasting reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and local air pollutants resulting from the current processes rely on burning BL in recovery boilers to recover said IC.

The screen pipe system (6) further comprises a vertically arranged screen pipe section (9) extending from the obliquely arranged screen pipe section (7). The screen pipes (8) of the vertically arranged screen pipe section (9) are arranged to extend parallel with the at least one superheater (5) in upper part of the furnace (1).
