摘要: Discloses are a method for preparing fluff pulp from bamboos, and the fluff pulp prepared thereby. The method comprises the following steps: treating the bamboos with high-concentration alkali at a relatively mild temperature, after a certain period of treatment, replacing a treatment liquid for separating hemicellulose with a weak black liquor; Kraft cooking the treated bamboos to obtain unbleached bamboo pulp, removing rejects in the unbleached bamboo pulp by using a slotted screen; then removing miscellaneous cells by using a microporous sieve; carrying out two stages of oxygen delignification on the screened pulp; carrying out ECF bleaching treatment of a D0EpD1P process; and finally obtaining the bamboo fluff pulp which has high whiteness, low DCM extract content, low ash content and long fiber length, contains 4.2-4.6 million fibers per gram, and has relatively high bulkiness.

摘要: An entirely water-based, energy self-sufficient, integrated in-line waste management system is provided for comprehensive conversion of all organic fractions of municipal and wider community waste to fuels suitable for use in transportation, with all solid residues converted to high nutrition compost. The system is based on a combination of pre-treatment, involving alkaline hydrolysis and saponification; three-way separation of the pre-treated waste into different streams that are each directed to suitable further processing including fuel production; which includes biodiesel generation in a continuous-flow catalytic esterification unit, and anaerobic digestion to produce methane or other small molecule biofuel. Remaining solids are converted to compost in a quasi-continuous process.

摘要: A composition and method of preparing a composition is presented wherein the composition comprises cellulose platelets and the cellulose platelets comprise at least 60% cellulose by dry weight, less than 10% pectin by dry weight and at least 5% hemicellulose by dry weight. The composition can be concentrated to at least 25% by weight solids content by pressing under low pressure, whilst retaining the ability to be re suspended within an aqueous medium. The resulting aqueous medium obtains the desired properties of the composition, such as increased viscosity or increased dispersion of pigment particles, for example, to the same extent as the composition before pressing.
