    Abstract: Proposed are a high tenacity yarn and a method of manufacturing a glove using the same. More particularly, proposed are a high tenacity yarn capable of being knitted finely and thinly and having a high tenacity even if a metallic yarn is used as a core of a main yarn, and a method of manufacturing a glove using the same. To this end, the high tenacity yarn includes a core yarn and a covering yarn wound on a circumference of the core yarn. The core yarn includes a first core yarn part formed of a metal component and a second core yarn part formed of a metal component, and a total thickness of the first core yarn part and the second core yarn part is formed to be 0.07 mm or less.

    Abstract: Certain embodiments according to the invention provide compression articles suitable for a wide variety of uses (e.g., compression socks, athletic garments, etc.).     Abstract: This disclosure relates to a VR glove capable of measuring the movement of individual finger and thumb bones. The VR glove can include a plurality of inertial measurement units (IMUs) to track the movement of one or more finger and/or hand sections. The IMUs can include one or more motion sensors, such as a gyroscope and an accelerometer, for measuring the orientation, position, and velocity of objects (e.g., finger bones) that the IMU can be attached. An IMU can be located proximate to a finger (or thumb) bone and can measure the inertial motion of the corresponding bone. In some examples, the VR glove may include magnetometers to determine the direction of the geo-magnetic field. The VR glove can also include one or more other electronic components, such as a plurality of electrodes for sensing the heading, enabling capacitive touch, and/or contact sensing between finger tips.

    Abstract: A roper's glove is of knitted construction and designed to reduce bulk in the knuckles so as to allow a high degree of flexibility and a full range of motion in gripping and handling a rope. Most of the glove is of normal knit construction, but across knuckles the knitting courses are formed of a substantially lighter and less bulky feeder yarn to provide flexibility. Preferably about five such courses comprising the lighter feeder yarn are included at each knuckle, separated by several normal knitting courses. With reduced bulk in the knuckles, when the hand is closed around a rope the user has better contact with the rope for enhanced feel and control.

    Abstract: A staple fiber yarn having at least one twisted thread. The twisted thread includes a mixture of first staple fibers and second staple fibers. The first staple fibers are produced from high-strength filaments and the second staple fibers have a shrinkage in the range from 5% to 50%. The weight ratio of the first to second staple fibers lies in the range of 5:95 to 45:55. A method for producing a textile article wherein shrinkage is implemented either on the staple fiber yarn, after which the article is produced from the shrunken staple fiber yarn, or on the article containing the non-shrunken staple fiber yarn.
