摘要： The present invention relates to maximizing advertising space on product packaging. Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method of increasing advertising space on various product packaging by increasing the graphic space on and apparent volume of the packaging, such as those used for cosmetics and toiletries. Preferred embodiments include a product packaging with a partially or completely recessed container closure. Further preferred embodiments include a container closure that is threaded, fused, or snapped in to the body of the container. Embodiments of the invention can be modified to accommodate existing products or provide a unique package design for emerging products.

摘要： A sealing system for food applications that provides a housing element with two or more bolts and respective holes for clamping. A flanged element is clamped to a frame of a machine, and a rubber seal placed along the base perimeter of the housing element. The seal includes a first portion of the rubber profile placed in the areas distant from the holes and a second portion of the rubber profile adjacent to the holes. The rubber profile of the second portion has a larger cross section than that of the first portion, such that the deformations of the rubber profile are made virtually uniform to prevent the formation of fractures, and therefore of bacteria traps, in the rubber.

摘要： Container for e.g. wine has a vessel, a seal assembly, and a handle assembly. The seal assembly has upper and lower seal compressor moldings on major faces of a seal, and seal's edge expands in response to moving the seal's major faces together to increase a diameter of the seal. Pressure on a glass vessel is sufficiently low to prevent the glass from cracking or breaking, and pressure can be sufficiently high to prevent air from entering the enclosed volume. Methods and parts associated with the container are also discussed.

摘要： A valve usable to repeatedly open and close a filling-emptying channel associated with a a beverage container includes a valve body (1). The valve body has a central ring (2) supported by arms (7). The ring includes a hole (4). The valve has a deformable valve plate (5) that includes an outer circumferential beveled edge (10). The valve plate further includes a central conical part (6) configured to engage in the hole. When in blocking relation of the channel, the conical part is engaged in the hole and the valve plate has a convex cup shape. Pulling outwardly on the valve body, changes the convexity of the valve plate and enables it to be disengaged from the valve body.

There is a lid for fitting into and sealing the can opening, the lid having a peripheral wall therearound with an end of an upper section having a second rib to engage a top of the can flange, a central wall portion below the second rib to oppose the flange downwardly extending skirt wall above the can first rib, and a recess around the lid peripheral wall below the central wall portion of a substantially V-shape with diverging walls. The can tubular first rib fits into the lid recess to engage at points along lines tangent tc the first rib extending around the circumference of the first rib with the points of engagement of the first rib with the diverging walls of the recess forming a lock between the lid and can flange and to seal the contents in the can from entering between the opposing lid central wall portion and flange skirt wall.

摘要： An end unit of the type including an outer ring and a separately formed cover each having annular channels which interlock to secure the cover in place on the ring and form a seal between the cover and the ring. The interlock is improved selectively by interlocking beads on radially outer walls of the interlocking channels or by a socket in the radially outer wall of the ring channel and a radially inwardly projecting bead on the radially inner wall of the cover channel, the bead projecting into the socket. The interlocks permit greater tolerances in the manufacture of the end unit, particularly the interlocking channels. This also provides for greater tolerances in the application of the cover after the associated container has been filled.
