    摘要： A paint pouch fitting for a paint dispensing system comprising a piston slidable within a housing. A passage in the housing includes an inlet communicating with a paint pouch, and an outlet. The passage also includes a piercable membrane positioned between the inlet and the outlet. The piston includes a blade for piercing the membrane. The positioning of the piston within the passage defines two working positions allowing for four operational modes of shipping, piercing, dispensing, and storing.

    摘要： A lid facilitates opening a sealed container and includes a connecting rim engageable with the sealed container and encircling a lid surface, and threads disposed on an inside surface of the connecting rim. A cutting tab is disposed on the lid surface. The cutting tab is sized and positioned to engage a seal of the sealed container when the lid is threaded onto the sealed container via the threads. In one application, the lid is applied to a pre-filled container including a product sealed in the container. The lid serves to open the seal and provide access to the product.

    摘要： A closure for a container comprises a circular closure plate (2, 4), integral with the outer edge of which is a depending skirt (8), integrally connected to the lower end of which by means of a resilient annular integral hinge (10) is an annular flange (12), which extends generally upwardly and inwardly. The closure also includes a cutter assembly which includes a cutting blade (38) and is mounted to rotate about the center of the closure plate (2, 4). The integral hinge (10) has a hole formed in it through which the cutting blade (38) extends. Rotation of the cutter assembly about the center of the closure plate thus results in cutting of the integral hinge (10) and thus in release of the closure plate (2, 4) and the depending skirt (8) from the annular flange (12).

A lining covers the open end of the cup sealing the contents of the cup from the contents of the container until the cup is rotated around the cutting mechanism to cut the lining and thereby release the contents therein.

    摘要： A sealing cap for the mouth of a container facilitates both the sealing of new bottles containing unused contents, and the re-sealing of those bottles already in use so as to preserve their contents. The sealing cap includes an inner cap and an outer cap. The inner cap includes a shielding plate which is fixed on the mouth of a container, and an annular strip which is provided at the lower end of the outer circumferential wall of the inner cap. The outer cap, which is fixed on the inner cap, includes a top lid, and a main cap with a guide tube having a lower-end sharp edge located opposite the shielding plate. By removing the annular strip from the inner cap and pressing down the outer cap, the lower end of the outer cap engages the outer circumference of the mouth of the container, and at the same time, the lower-end sharp edge of the guide tube pierces the shielding plate. The user then opens the top lid of the outer cap to access the contents of the container. Advantages of the sealing cap include the integrity of the seal during preservation of the contents prior to use, the ability to securely re-seal the container once opened, and the ease of operating the outer cap.
