摘要: A number of individual barrier units form a floating barrier wall each comprising a housing formed in the general shape of a highway barrier having a top wall, a bottom wall, opposed end walls, and, opposed side walls interconnected to form a hollow interior which is preferably partially or completely filled with a foam material. A ballast weight is secured to each barrier unit, either inside or outside of the hollow interior, to maintain them in an upright position in the water. Cables, couplers and/or other connectors are employed to mount adjacent barrier units end-to-end to form a barrier wall which can encircle a vessel or otherwise isolate an area within a seaport or other body of water to provide security.

摘要: Disclosed is a method and system to provide protection for maritime vessels from multiple threat types including shoulder launched rocket propelled threats, ballistic (howitzer), and larger scale missile systems. According to an exemplary embodiment, the protection system is based on the ballistic launch (from the protected vessel) of an explosive charge(s) aimed ˜5 meters away from the vessel and ˜1 meter beneath the waterline followed by detonation to enable the formation of a water wall. Through the formation of a water wall, incident threats can be initiated (piezo fuze), and passivated through dynamic interaction with the water formation. In addition, the upward velocity of the water wall can enable an upwards rotation of the incident threat changing the orientation of the warhead jet formation (for shape charge warheads) above the vessel.

摘要: An underwater acoustic deception system deceives a sensor installed on a threat existing in or on water by acoustic effect in order to protect ships from the threat. The underwater acoustic deception system is provided with a control device, a laser oscillator and emission optical system. The control device determines a focusing position to focus a laser beam (50) in water in order to generate bubbles (70) at a desired position with a desired scale and emission parameters of the laser beam (50). The laser oscillator generates the laser beam (50) configured to focus in water and generate bubbles. The emission optical system emits the generated laser beam (50) to the focusing position. The underwater acoustic deception system deceives an arbitrary sensor existing in the water by acoustic effect of the bubbles (70) on the surroundings.

摘要: An orb or body deployable from a launch tube serves as a countermeasures system. Where used, a tow rocket may be used to tow the orb or body to a desired location generally in front of an oncoming threat, and the tow rocket is released. Multiple line tow rockets are then launched from the orb in every direction, each extending a line connected to the orb to define a spherical volume within which the orb and lines operate. Each line may include at least one of sensors for sensing acoustic, magnetic or other disturbances, countermeasures systems including explosives, antenna, and radiating countermeasures transducers. Explosives or transducers may also be mounted in or to the orb. Magnetic, acoustic or electrical signals or the like may be emitted to confuse a threat, and explosives may be triggered when the threat enters the spherical volume defined by the extended lines.

The configuration system selects a sample configuration that is deemed to be suitable as the target configuration.

The system has a reinforced foldable surface unit and a foldable net unit connected to the surface unit to provide a restricted area. The surface unit prevents small boats from entering the area and the net unit prevents divers from entering the area. The net unit is provided with an alarm to indicate if a diver tries to penetrate the net.
