    Abstract: A method performed by an electronic control unit of a vehicle, to monitor tires of the vehicle. The method includes evaluating a target location to monitor the vehicle tires. Based on the evaluation that the target location is fit to monitor the tires, the method includes initiating a monitoring mode of the vehicle. In response to initiating the monitoring mode, the method includes rotating front tires and back tires of the vehicle in opposite directions. During the rotation of the front and back tires, the method includes monitoring the rotation of the tires by using one or more vehicle sensors. The method further includes determining one or more anomalies in the vehicle tires based on the monitoring of the rotation of the front and back tires. Based on the determination, the method includes performing one or more remedial actions to mitigate the anomalies.

    Abstract: A wheel brush for a wheelchair has an inverted U-shaped brush housing that has a longitudinal channel and an open bottom. A brush head is slidably received within the channel such that bristles located on the brush head extend out through the open bottom of the brush housing. The open bottom is sufficiently narrow as to prevent the brush head from passing therepast. A resilient clip is attached to the brush housing and is clipped to a vertical post of the wheelchair, such as the arm rest post, and is positioned so that the bristles engage a portion of the outer periphery of one of the wheels so as to brush clean the wheels whenever the wheelchair rolls and the rear wheels rotate.

    Abstract: A scraper for removing debris from between first and second tires of a vehicle is provided. The scraper may include a tower, a bracing arm, and a scraper. The tower may have a first end, a second end, and a longitudinal axis extending between the first and second ends, the first end couples to a first portion of the vehicle. The bracing arm may have a first end coupled to the tower and a second end coupled to a second portion of the vehicle that is different from the first portion of the vehicle. The paddle may be suspended by the tower and extends at least partially between the first and second tires of the vehicle. An angle between the bracing arm and the tower may be in a range of approximately 10 degrees to approximately 90 degrees relative to the longitudinal axis of the tower.

    Abstract: The vehicle traction deicing system comprises a reservoir, a pump, a heater, a plurality of valves, a plurality of nozzles, and an operator interface. The reservoir holds a supply of deicing fluid which the pump moves through the heater, valves, and nozzles. The nozzles are placed in front of and behind each wheel of a vehicle and pointed at the windshield. The valves control the flow of deicing fluid to the various nozzles. The heater heats the deicing fluid prior to dispersal by the nozzles. The operator interface provides a set of controls that allow the vehicle traction deicing system to be turned on and off and to dispense the heated deicing fluid at wheels and at the windshield.

    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a motor vehicle comprising a dust sensor. The dust sensor is a scattered light photometer according to the disclosure. The scattered light photometer measures the dust load of the air in a region of the motor vehicle in which resuspended or emitted dust has a tendency to occur during travel. In addition, the motor vehicle contains a device for dust reduction, which receives measured data from the scattered light photometer, and decides, on the basis of the measured data, whether measures are to be taken against dust resuspension or dust emission. The device takes corresponding measures if the dust load exceeds a threshold value.
