    摘要: Disk removing device uses its disk pickup arm to remove or take out, from an injection mold unit, a disk having been molded by the mold unit. The disk removing device includes a rotary motor for rotating the disk pickup arm, and an arm support shaft which has the disk pickup arm at its distal end portion and which is rotated, together with the arm, by the rotary motor. The arm support shaft is coupled at its other end to a linear shaft of a linear motor so that the rotary and linear motors are coupled with each other in series via the arm support shaft. The disk removing device also includes a bearing member rotatable by the rotary motor, and the arm support shaft is supported by the bearing member for rotation and axial sliding movement relative to the bearing member. Such arrangements can effectively reduce the necessary number of component parts and overall size of the disk removing device, and thus the disk removing device can be installed snugly in a small space.

    摘要: A method and an apparatus are disclosed for controlling a motional sequence of a first movable component of a plastic material injection molding machine having a first trajectory spatially overlapping at least partially a second trajectory of a second movable component of the plastic material injection molding machine. Motion of the first movable component is initiated depending on an enabling signal indicative for a motional state of the second movable component. The method comprises the steps of: a) determining a first period of time (TWA; TRE) between a first moment in time (tFW; tFR) when the enabling signal is generated and a second moment in time (t6; t3) when the first movable component enters the second trajectory; b) determining a second period of time (TRAmax; TWEmax) between the first moment in time (tFW; tFR) and a third moment in time (t10; t8) when the second movable component leaves the first trajectory; c) comparing the first period of time (TWA; TRE) with the second period of time (TRAmax; TWEmax) and generating a difference signal therebetween; and d) controlling motion of the first movable component as a function of this comparison of the first period of time (TWA; TRE) with the second period of time (TRAmax; TWEmax) such that the difference signal is smaller than a predetermined minimum tolerance value (T2; T1).

    摘要: A double row molding apparatus provides greatly increased production of food patty molding machines. The apparatus comprises a mold plate having front and back cavities in longitudinal and transverse alignment. When the mold plate is at a retracted position, front and back fill slots enable flow of the food product from a manifold simultaneously to all the cavities. At an extended position, all the patties are ejected simultaneously by a knockout mechanism. The front and back fill slots may be either one long fill slot, or multiple short fill slots in communication with respective mold plate cavities. In a modified embodiment, a single fill slot communicates only with the back cavities when the mold plate is in its retracted position. As the mold plate advances toward its extended position, the row of back cavities passes over the fill slot and enables the food product to flow into the back cavities.

    摘要: An injection mold apparatus for the injection molding of plastic articles. The mold apparatus has a plurality of take-off plates. Each of the take-off plates comprises a plurality of article acceptors. The take-off plates are movable between positions wherein the article acceptors can accept molded articles from the mold and positions wherein the molded articles are moved away from the mold. In a preferred embodiment, each of the article acceptors consists of opposed half-cylinders which can be separated to accept and discharge the molded articles. Also in preferred embodiments, each of the article acceptors is internally cooled so as to be able to cool each article acceptor after it has been moved away from the mold.
