    摘要: A composite material structure can be constructed using an airforming process that includes filling the inflated support mold with a fluid structural material and allowing the fluid structural material to harden within the support mold. Additional steps can include inflating the support mold with a first fluid, forming fluid escape outlets in the support mold, and removing the support mold after allowing the fluid structural material to harden. The first fluid can be air, the support mold can be a fiberglass resin, and/or the fluid structural material can be a concrete composite material. Fluid can escape through the fluid escape outlets during the filling. The finished structure can include multiple structural components formed from a homogenous concrete composite material and having curved and non-planar geometries. The concrete composite material can include aluminum alloy fibers.

    摘要: A milking inflation formed of a food grade approved thermoplastics material of a Shore A hardness of between about 60 to 90, the inflation (7) having a region (8) adapted to, in use, engage with the teat of an animal, this teat engagement portion (8) having a reduced wall thickness (12) to provide flexibility. A method of forming a milking inflation whereby the inflation is moulded in a mould (1, 2) which has a core (3) in a mould cavity (4). The moulded inflation (7) is separated from the core (3) by introducing air between the core (3) and inflation (7) to inflate the inflation and enable separation of the inflation from the core. A method of monitoring the age of an inflation by monitoring change in the colour of the inflation to determine ageing of the inflation.

The invention also relates to an apparatus that implements this method.

    摘要: Concrete building panels include a decorative embossed pattern on an outer surface. A plurality of concrete reinforcing ribs are disposed along an inner surface of the concrete building panels. Nailing strips are anchored into tips of the respective concrete reinforcing ribs. A method for making the building panels include a step of placing anchored nailing strips into tapered rib sections of a horizontal fiberglass mold is disclosed wherein reinforcing bars and mesh and moist concrete are placed into the mold and allowed to cure until the exposed upper surface of the moist concrete is plastically deformable. The horizontal mold is passed beneath a rotating embossing roller having a cylindrical embossing pattern thereon. The plastically deformable concrete contacts the embossing pattern, producing a complementary pattern on the concrete surface. The embossed concrete is cured in the mold to produce the building panel. The concrete building panel is then separated from the mold.
