摘要： An interchangeable tool coupling assembly includes a coupling base, a connecting collar, a locking sleeve, a wave spring and an interchangeable tool having a shaft with an end and a pin protruding from a side of the shaft end. At one end portion, the coupling base receives the shaft end and at an opposite end portion is threadable into a threaded hex shaped endof an universal handle. Between its opposite end portions, the coupling base has a hex shaped nut. The connecting collar is disposed over the coupling base and slidable relative thereto toward and away from the hex shaped nut in which a hex shaped hollow end portion of the connecting collar assumes respective connected and disconnected positions relative to the hex shaped end of the universal handle threaded with the hex shaped nut, respectively preventing and allowing unthreading of the handle end from the coupling base. The locking sleeve is disposed over the one end portion of the coupling base and defines L shaped slots each having locking and unlocking portions and receiving opposite ends of the interchangeable tool pin. When the connecting collar is in its connected position, the locking sleeve is rotatable relative to the coupling base between locked and unlocked conditions in which opposite ends of the pin are correspondingly disposed in the locking and unlocking portions of the slots. The wave spring biases the locking sleeve to retain the opposite ends of the pin in the locking portions of the slots thereby retaining the locking sleeve in its locked condition and the connecting collar in its connected position.

摘要： A new hand tool with interchangeable attachments for providing a gardener with several tools while requiring a single handle. The inventive device includes a handle portion having a dowel extending therethrough upwardly of a lower end thereof. The dowel has diametrically opposed end portions extending outwardly of the handle portion. A shank portion couples with the handle portion. The shank portion has a recess extending within an upper end thereof. The recess is dimensioned for receiving the lower end of the handle portion therein. The upper end has a pair of diametrically opposed vertical slots extending downwardly thereof in communication with the recess. The vertical slots slidably receive the opposed end portions of the dowel of the handle portion. A collar member is slidably disposed on the handle portion. The collar member has an externally threaded open upper end and an outwardly flared open lower end. The open lower end has a pair of diametrically opposed recesses extending upwardly thereof. The recesses receive the opposed outer ends of the dowel therein when in a fully engaged orientation.

摘要： A tool expanding assembly serves to greatly increase the usefulness and versatility of preexisting long-handled tools by providing a specially configured interconnecting approach which allows rapid attachment of various tool head types to the unmodified basic tool. The resulting combined tool may be rapidly reconfigured as needed, and allows the use of a wide range of tool types in groups of two, including the basic tool type and any one other of a variety of alternate tool head types. A two section tool expanding assembly is disclosed via a number of preferred embodiments, and both round and square variants of the alternate tool head interconnecting sections are presented.

The wings, barbs or hooks provide an angled projection that catches and holds a clump of debris in a drain pipe for pulling the clump out and unclogging the drain. Different end tools can be removably connected to a clog-catching member or to a smooth extension member to provide multifunctionality. The handle, clog-catching members, smooth extension members and tools can be connected together using a quick-connect connector, such as a snap fastener, a keyhole fastener or a side-release buckle, or a threaded connector. In addition to drain cleaning, the apparatus can be fitted with tools such as a magnet, grabber, light, camera and/or video for retrieval of objects and inspection of a space that is difficult to view directly.

A connector may be used to connect the filter element to the filter head to ensure proper installation and simplify removal of a fouled filter element. The connector permits removable coupling of the filter element to the filter head and resists unintentional disengagement to securely couple the filter element to the filter head.

摘要： A paintbrush holder assembly affixes a standard paintbrush to a holder that in turn engages an extension rod. The holder includes a hollow tubular shaft with a circular cross section that includes a first end, a middle portion and a second end. Three or more semi-circular fasteners attach to the middle portion of the tubular shaft via flex points. One fastener includes a lock pin to engage a locking shaft. The locking shaft has an “L” shaped lock track having a sufficient size and dimension to fit about the tubular shaft and capable of sliding from the second end to a point proximate the first end. The extension rod connects to the holder via male threads which secure to female threads located at the second end of the tubular shaft.
