    摘要: Represented and described is an underfloor wheel set processing machine, in particular an underfloor wheel lathe (1′) for reprofiling wheels and brake discs of wheel sets (20) of rail vehicles, comprising: a machine stand (3), a crossbeam (2) for bridging a workshop track (4) with at least two rails (4A, 4B, 4C) in the transverse direction, two roller carriers (7A, 7B), at least four friction rollers (8), at least one friction roller drive (9) to drive the friction rollers (8) and at least one axial guide roller (19) to axially guide the wheel set (20), wherein the machine stand (3) has a first part (3A) and a second part (3B), wherein the crossbeam (2) is supported on both parts (3A, 3B) of the machine stand (3), wherein the roller carriers (7A, 7B) are movably connected to the machine stand (3), and wherein the friction rollers (8) are rotatably supported on the roller carrier (7A, 7B). In order to adjust to wheel sets (20) with different track widths, it is proposed for the first part (3A) of the machine stand (3) and the second part (3B) of the machine stand (3) to be displaceable relative to one another in the transverse direction.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for reprofiling wheelsets (1) rotatably mounted in axle bearing housings (6) on rail vehicles on underfloor wheelset lathes (12; 14) equipped with machining tools, a machine control for the machining tools, drive rollers (15), axial guide rollers (17), measuring rollers (13) as well as clamping devices (21; 22) to engage the axle bearing housings (6). The method is characterised in that the wheelset (1) is lifted off the rail using the drive rollers (15), weighing it in the process, the axle bearing housings (6) are fixed between the drive rollers (15) and the clamping devices (21; 22), an axial guide roller (17) is adjusted to touch the inner side (16) of each of the two wheels (3; 4) of the wheelset (1) and fixed in this position, an additional force (20) is applied to the drive rollers (15), that the actual diameter (8) and the wear profile of each wheel (3; 4) is determined by means of a measuring roller (13), that the smaller actual diameter is determined based on the measurement results and, it having been modified by a specified machining allowance, entered as the nominal diameter (11) into the machine control for the machining tools.

    摘要: This invention relates to an underfloor wheel set lathe for the profiling of wheel sets of trackbound vehicles of the type in which the wheels are at least in part supposed by rolls carried by a roll carrier, at least one of the rolls being driven. Movement of the roll carrier is resisted by a horizontally acting brake mechanism which permits vertical lifting movements of the carrier. The force with which horizontal movement is resisted may, by suitable hydraulic means, be controlled as a function of the cutting force or driving force imparted to the wheels, the lifting force exerted against the wheels, or otherwise coordinated with the force applied in the course of profiling.

A spindle 10 of a machine tool includes a work holding device 13, e.g. a collet chuck or expanding mandrel, operated by a draw rod 17 against a spring stack 23. The draw rod is retracted against the spring stack 23 by a non-rotatable hydraulic device that is spring biased out of contact with the rotating spindle 10 when no pressure is acting. The device comprises an annular piston 31 movable within a cylinder 32, 33, 34 and including a bearing 37 for contact with the rotating end of the draw rod 17 and a bearing 43 for contact with a shoulder formed on the end of the spindle 10. Springs 61 and 56 ensure the separation of the device from the rotating spindle and draw rod when no pressure is acting. The device and spindle end is covered in a housing 11 against which the springs 56 bear. The housing 11 has a cut-away portion 64 for access of a drive belt to a pulley 63.
