摘要: The invention relates to a process for the production of a double-layer metal sheet, more particularly a lacquered shaped construction member comprising such a double layer metal sheet, for example, for the outer skin of a motor vehicle, having an intermediate layer (6) of epoxy resin glued to the two smooth cover sheets (7, 10). After the introduction between the cover sheets (7, 10) of the intermediate layer (6) and of spots (16), distributed over the surface, of an epoxy resin polymerizing at a lower temperature than the epoxy resin of the intermediate layer (6), the cover sheets (7, 10) are fixed spatially in relation to one another by the polymerization of the epoxy resin of the spots (16). Then the resulting composite is shaped. Finally the shaped constructional member (15) obtained is lacquered and the epoxy resin of the intermediate layer (6) polymerized during stove enamelling.

摘要: A covering for a flower pot with a floral grouping disposed therein and extending a distance above an upper end of the flower pot wherein the flower pot has a lower end and an outer peripheral surface. The covering includes a sheet of material having an upper surface, a lower surface and an outer peripheral surface with a sheet extension connected to the outer peripheral surface of the sheet of material and extending a distance from the outer peripheral surface of the sheet of material. The sheet of material is formed about the flower pot to a position wherein the sheet of material extends about substantially the entire outer peripheral surface of the flower pot to provide a decorative covering and the sheet extension is formed about the floral grouping to a position wherein the sheet extension extends about a substantial portion of the floral grouping to provide a protective covering.

摘要: A process and apparatus for installation of a lockbolt to fasten together an assembly of at least two parts having a viscous fluid such as adhesive or sealant in the interface between the two parts, inserts a lockbolt into aligned holes through the two parts and exerts a pulling force of a predetermined intermediate magnitude on the lockbolt while reacting the pulling force against opposite sides of the assembly to exert a compressive force on the assembly to squeeze the fluid out of the interface. The intermediate pulling force is maintained for a precisely timed dwell period based on an optimal period for that fluid and that temperature. After the dwell period, the pulling force is increased in magnitude while simultaneously swaging a collar into threads on the lockbolt to secure the collar on the lockbolt and secure the lockbolt in a state of tension in the hole in the assembly. The pulling force magnitude continues to increase said until the pintail breaks off the lockbolt.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a honeycomb structure, the method comprising the steps of: forming staggered cells through the entire thickness of a fiber fabric; causing pegs to penetrate into respective ones of the cells, each peg having a cross-section of size smaller than that of the corresponding cell and being made of a material that is suitable for expanding; expanding the pegs so that they fill the cells and exert pressure on the inside faces of the cells; and shrinking the pegs and then withdrawing them.

摘要: The present invention provides a method for producing a bending-resistant, elongated body, preferably a shaft or beam. The invention is characterized in that an elongated blank is produced having at least one cavity extending essentially along the entire length of the blank, the inner surface of which cavity is at a distance from the mass center of the blank seen in a section at right angles to its longitudinal axis and that affixed in the cavity is a fiber composite body with an outer surface essentially congruent with the inner surface of the cavity and that majority of the fibers in the fiber composite body both extend essentially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the elongated blank and are elongated along the whole of its length. The invention also relates to an arrangement produced according to the method.

摘要: Low melting point metal such as Zn is sprayed onto a flat surface (3a) of an aluminum flat tube (3) to form a sprayed metal coating (15) thereon inmediately after extrusion of the flat tube. Inmediately thereafter, a brazing foil (11) is integrally adhered onto the sprayed metal coating (15). The obtained flat tube (3) with the brazing foil is combined with a corrugated fin (4) to form a temporary assembly. Then, the temporary assembly is heated at a predetermined temperature to braze the tube (3) and the fin (4) to thereby form a heat exchanger core. The low melting point metal may be sprayed on both the flat surface (3a) of the flat tube and the surface of the brazing foil (11). Thus, it becomes possible to obtain a lightweight thin fin and to decrease material costs.

摘要: A prefinished curved reflector suitable for use in recessed lighting, downlighting, head lamps, and tail lamps is made from metal sheet, preferably an aluminum alloy sheet. An outer surface of the metal sheet is either anodized, laminated, or polymer coated to provide desired appearance and performance. Surprisingly, the metal sheet retains its reflectivity and resistance to corrosion even after deformation into a curved reflector.

摘要: There is provided a method for producing a friction plate, capable of improving the throughput of friction material and reducing the time and work required for adhering friction material segments to a core plate. The method produces a friction plate having oil grooves communicating between the internal periphery and the external periphery, by fixing friction material segments formed from a friction material to a core plate, and is featured by forming the oil grooves by plastic working of the friction material and fixation of the friction material segments with predetermined gaps therebetween to the core plate.
