摘要： A process is provided for preparing an aqueous emulsion of an amino-functional polyorganosiloxane. The process includes mixing A) an amino-functional polyorganosiloxane, B) a non-ionic surfactant, and C) water; and thereafter mixing in additional starting materials including additional water, D) a water soluble salt, E) a pH adjusting agent, and F) a preservative. A phase inversion occurs during the process, such that the resulting emulsion has A) the amino-functional polyorganosiloxane in the internal, discontinuous phase and C) the water in an external, continuous phase.

Methods of using the cosmetic blending devices comprise placing the solid-shell cosmetic ingredient capsule into the cosmetic blending device and blending the capsule to produce the cosmetic liquid. Methods of forming the solid-shell cosmetic ingredient capsule comprise forming a portion of the shell, adding the cosmetic material to the portion of the shell, and forming the remaining portion of the shell.

摘要： A dispensing system includes a container containing a flowable base formulation to be dispensed, an additive mixing device, and an actuable pump engine which draws the flowable base formulation from the container and pumps it through the mixing device. The additive mixing device includes a body with an internal cavity, an additive ingredient within the cavity, and a flow path/mixing chamber between an input and an output. With each pump of the device the additive ingredient is introduced into, and mixed with, a flow of the base formulation traveling through the mixing device. Multiple additive mixing devices may be interchangeable for different formulations, and the mixing devices may be refillable.
