摘要: The invention relates to a binding support plate (9), in particular an interface system (1) between a binding unit (2) for retaining, releasably if necessary, a boot and a board-type runner (3). This binding support plate (9) comprises a single- or multiple-component support body (19) of a length (14) approximately that of a binding unit (2), the distal end regions (12, 13) of which are provided as a means of receiving jaw bodies (5, 6) or guide tracks (15, 16) for jaw bodies (5, 6) of a binding unit (2) and the bottom face (47) of which is designed, at least in part regions, to sit on the top face (8) of a board-type runner (3). A middle region (32) of the single-component support body (19) is of a lesser structural stiffness than the two end regions (12, 13) thereof and at least one end region (12, 13) of the support body (19) can be mounted by means of clamp-type fixing means (20) on the top face (8) of a runner (3) so as to slide freely in the binding longitudinal directionnullindicated by double arrow (17). 摘要: A snowboard boot has a sole portion and an upper portion. The sole portion includes a mid sole having a base portion with a front catch coupled to a toe section of the base portion. The first and second rear catches are located at first and second lateral sides of a heel section of the base portion, and first and second strap attachment members extending from the heel section of the base portion. The upper portion includes a foot section fixedly coupled to the sole portion and a leg section extending upwardly from the foot section. The first and second strap attachment members are integrally formed with the base portion of said mid sole as a one-piece, unitary member.

摘要: An interface adjustment mechanism 100 is provided that includes a frame member 102 and fore and aft adjustable spacer holding members 104, 106, and is disposed within the outsole of the snowboard boot 10. The interface adjustment mechanism 100 also includes a plurality of interface adjustment assemblies 160. Each interface adjustment assembly 160 includes a base member 170 having a threaded aperture and an adjustment member or spacer 172 having a threaded portion threadably engageable with the threaded aperture of the base member so that the spacer 172 can be adjustable relative to the base member 170. When incorporated into the snowboard boot 10, the interface adjustment mechanism 100 provides the rider with an adjustable spacer/dampening system that can eliminate slop and provide dampening and shock absorption between the snowboard boot 10 and the snowboard binding 30. Eliminating slop and providing dampening and shock absorption provides the rider with improved control, force transmission, and feel.

摘要: A method and apparatus is disclosed that allows a user to individually or simultaneously customize the pitch, roll, height, yaw, linear placement and lateral placement of his/her boots on his/her skis. This system allows the user to stand in a position while skiing that is closer to his/her natural position and to have the parameters of such a stance measured and quantified, thereby improving comfort, performance, and safety. As opposed to the limited variation in only some parameters described by current art, this invention allows significant variation in all individual parameters and simultaneous customization of all parameters. This simultaneity is important because of its increased ease to the skier and because altering any one parameter can change the center of pressure, thus creating the need for additional changes until the perfect combination of adjustments is made. In particular, the system allows for the alteration of the yaw of the ski boot alone or in combination with any or all of the other parameters.

摘要: A binding system for securing a boot (10) having an instep portion and a toe portion to a snowboard (28) includes an attachment member (12) provided on the toe portion of the sole of the boot, a corresponding engaging member (16) on a frame (14), and a strap (18) for securing a portion of the boot in the frame. One end (58) of the instep strap is anchored to one side of the base, while a loose end of the strap is passed over the instep boot portion and tightened by means of a ratcheting buckle mechanism (48) to the opposing side of the frame once the user has placed his foot on the frame. Thus, the toe is readily and firmly secured to the frame, and the strap is merely tightened.

摘要: A universal snow boot and binding for use in connection with either snow skiing or snow boarding which is easy to use and provides quick, easy and positive interconnection of the snow boot with the upper surface of the ski or snowboard. The snow boot or foot enclosure component of the invention carries a permanent magnet that engages a metal plate provided on the snowboard. The mechanical locking mechanism that is operated by the user is also strategically mounted on the snowboard. The mechanical locking component includes a toe locking mechanism and a cooperating heel locking mechanism that is easily operable to enable the snow boot to be readily disconnected from the upper surface of the snowboard or snow ski.
