摘要： A cover for the protection of an infant comprises a central hub member which is pivotally connected at one end to an extendable and collapsible support frame made up of link arms and pivotally, flexible connected frame ribs. The ribs reside in channels in an exterior surface covering of mesh cloth or transparent or opaque material. The hub member is connected, at its other end, to a string-like line which extends through an opening on the top of the cover. The line is attached to a handle. With the cover in a collapsed position, the handle is pulled upwards, which causes the attached line and the hub to move upward. This results in the link arms pivoting the frame ribs outward and upward. Upon continued pulling on the handle, the hub is pulled into and secured within the opening, causing the frame and surface covering to become fully extended. The cover forming the resulting enclosed space is lightweight and can readily be secured to a crib or simply placed on a bed, the ground, or other unprotected area. The surface covering is provided with a zippered opening to allow for internal access to the cover. By simply pushing down on the hub when the cover is extended, the cover will be caused to collapse.

The system includes a patient support base and an elongated walled enclosure having a periphery that is engageable with the patient support base. Further, the walled enclosure includes an operable accessway for accessing a portion of the patient while in the isolated patient environment. Preferably, the operable accessway is positioned in the walled enclosure such that the patient's head is accessible while the patient is in the isolated patient environment. In another application, the walled enclosure is made from disposable material and also is pressure-equalizing between the isolated patient environment and the surrounding environment.

摘要： The present invention provides a mosquito net frame. A rectangular top frame portion of the mosquito net frame is realized by easily assembling square tubes or rods and fittings together. Square tubes or rods are also used for corner columns that also interface with the fittings of the top frame at each corner of the top frame. A foot is added at the bottom of each column to assist in supporting the mosquito net frame from a frame of a cot or from a ground surface. A conventional mosquito netting or other fabric is supported by the mosquito net frame to protect a sleeping person. Disassembly and transport is realized by simply pulling the square tubes from the fittings and placing the components in a container with a secured lid for carrying, shipping and storing the mosquito net frame.
