    摘要： An environmentally controlled sleep pod comprises: a) a main frame having an elevated base for supporting a mattress, a mechanical system storage area, and having walls extending upwardly, with a mattress sidewall portion and rail portion; b) a mattress on the base; c) a mechanical system located in its storage area, with heating and air-conditioning and power source connector; d) feed conduit(s) connected to the mechanical system and extending up the main frame walls to the rail portion for feeding air to above the mattress; e) return conduit(s) connected to the above-mattress rail portion of the main frame walls extending down the main frame walls to the mechanical systems for returning air from above the mattress; f) a control device for heating and cooling of air at the mechanical system; and g) a moveable hood connected to the main frame and having an open position and a closed position.

    摘要： A bed tent kit to provide a removable enclosure over a bed mattress includes a foundation sheet having a first edge region and adapted for placement between the bed mattress and a supporting structure beneath the bed mattress. The foundation sheet includes a plurality of first attachment mechanisms spaced apart along the first edge region of the foundation sheet. A set of support poles has free pole ends each adapted for attachment to the foundation sheet by a respective one of the first attachment mechanisms. The set of support poles presents a framework above the mattress when the free pole ends are attached to the foundation sheet. A canopy sheet has a second edge region and a plurality of second attachment mechanisms spaced apart along the second edge region. The canopy sheet is adapted to rest over the framework when the set of support poles are attached to the foundation sheet. The canopy sheet is attachable to the foundation sheet by the second attachment mechanisms independent of the attachment of the free pole ends of the support poles to the foundation sheet by the first attachment mechanisms.

The frame includes an upper laterally-extending support, a first upstanding support coupled to a first end of the upper support, and a second upstanding support coupled to a second end of the upper support. The upper support is length-adjustable. The canopy assembly is connectable to the frame for defining an enclosed area, and includes a plurality of collars removably connectable to the frame, and at least one panel holdable in a plane defined by the supports of the frame. The circumference of at least one such collar is adjustable so that when the length of the upper support is adjusted, the collar circumference can be adjusted to accommodate the change in length.

    摘要： A head-side inflow/outflow unit (60) and a foot-side inflow/outflow unit (70), which have a respective outlet opening (61, 71) for providing a supply of conditioned air to a sleeping compartment (11) within a capsule main body (20) and a respective inlet opening (62, 72), associated with the outlet opening (61, 71), for drawing in internal air of the sleeping compartment (11), are provided. The air-conditioning capacity of conditioned air supplied through each of the outlet openings (61, 71) is controlled such that the temperature of conditioned air supplied through the outlet opening (61) of the head-side inflow/outflow unit (60) falls below the temperature of conditioned air supplied through the outlet opening (71) of the foot-side inflow/outflow unit (70). In the head-side inflow/outflow unit (60), the inlet opening (62) is situated below the outlet opening (61), while on the other hand in the foot-side inflow/outflow unit (70) the inlet opening (72) is situated above the outlet opening (71), thereby producing flow of an air current causing a short-circuit between the outlet opening (61, 71) and the inlet opening (62, 72).
