Abstract:
A sole for footwear provided with an aeration system to permit the fresh air to reach the entire lower foot surface of the user, is described. Accordingly, a perforated portion (5) has been provided in the bridge area which on its inner face is in fluid connection with the sole and heel areas, where a circuit has been formed for air flow, thanks to recesses or notches (4,5) made in the respective economisers (2,3). An internal housing permits the arrangement of a Goretex plate intended to allow moisture circulation in a single direction, from inside to outside.
Abstract:
A shoe sole includes a body made of Polyurethane and a bladder is integrally connected to the body by molding. An inlet tube and an outlet tube are respectively connected to the bladder. The bladder, the inlet tube and the outlet tube are put in the mold assembly and the Polyurethane is ejected into the concavity to form a one-piece sole with the bladder.
Abstract:
An air-permeable waterproof device for a shoe has a shoe sole and non-return pieces. Air outlets are disposed at the bottom of the shoe sole, and air vent holes are disposed at the top thereof. Receiving rooms are disposed in the shoe sole and located between the air outlets and air vent holes to connect them together. Bumps are disposed on inner surfaces at the air outlet side of the receiving rooms. The non-return pieces are disposed in the receiving rooms. Foot heat and moisture in a shoe are discharged out from the air vent holes through the air outlets. Exterior water is blocked by the non-return pieces and cannot permeate the shoe through the air vent holes. A filter net is disposed at the shoe sole to prevent the air outlets from being blocked. Moreover, the filter net is skidproof and can absorb moisture in the shoe.
Abstract:
Ventilating footwear provides air circulation under and around the foot. Apertures in the heel and/or sole and/or midsole communicate with an air compartment in the heel and/or sole and/or midsole, and as the wearer strides, the heel and/or sole and/or midsole are compressed, expelling the air from the compartment and into the footwear upper. The top side surface of the sole or midsole may also be provided with a plurality of air channels which direct and circulate air from the compartment around and underneath the wearer's foot. The footwear may also provide shock absorbence and energy return through the compressible heel and/or sole and/or midsole, and may have a rigid or semi-rigid midsole, which provides support, as well as cushioning below the midsole for comfort.
Abstract:
An air flow system based on the human circulatory system whereby a cushioning, cooling and circulating air flow is generated by a wearer of the shoe. The shoe includes a heart pump actuated by the wearer wherein arteries lead air throughout the shoe and veins return the air to the pump. The shoe is designed to free the foot of immobility and rigidity, to aid in development and maintenance of muscle groups required in function. The longitudinal arch that develops is formed by the wearer and is individualized for each wearer rather than being preformed in the shoe itself.
Abstract:
A shoe ventilation apparatus (10) comprises a insert (12) fitting over the sole (L) of a shoe (S). An arch (A) extending upwardly from the sole, together with the insert defines a first air chamber (A1) at the heel (H) of the shoe, and a second air chamber (A2) at the toe (T) thereof. Air passages (28) in the heel of the shoe provide air to the first air chamber when the person wearing the shoe transfers their weight onto their toes. Air is expelled from the second air chamber through outlets (44) to ventilate the person's foot as the person transfers their weight from their toes to their heel. At this time, the person's weight presses down on the rear portion of the insert, compressing the first air chamber and forcing air from the first air chamber into the second air chamber. The circulated air is then vented from the shoe. A second embodiment of the invention comprises a booty (70) which is inserted in the shoe for circulating air through the shoe.
Abstract:
Among other things, the present invention provides various footwear pieces, and methods for manufacturing such pieces. In various cases, the footwear pieces are molded from a lofting material. Further, in various cases, the footwear pieces include one or more ventilators formed in the footwear piece that are surrounded by liquid conductors capable of channeling liquid spilled on the surface of the footwear pieces away from a foot within the footwear pieces.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a ventilation system for articles of footwear. The ventilation system includes at least one opening in the shoe upper and at least one guiding surface over the opening. The guiding surface is oriented such that airflow is directed into the opening as the shoe moves. For even greater ventilation, the ventilation system may include a plurality of openings and guiding surfaces. Additionally, a discharge outlet may be included in the sole of the shoe.
Abstract:
A shoe with permeable/breathable upper that covers, at least partially, an impermeable breathable sole, comprising a sole layer made of rubber connected internally to a wraparound upper made of synthetic or natural leather, the sole layer having nubs that pass through holes of the upper to constitute a tread, at least some of the nubs having at least one through hole, a breathable or perforated protective layer, a membrane permeable to vapor and impermeable to water and a breathable or perforated insole or anatomical inner sole being arranged in succession from below, at least at the holes of the nubs, above the sole layer, the protective layer and the membrane having edges substantially adjacent and joined hermetically to the sole layer and to the inner sole.
Abstract:
A flexible pad body includes an inflatable part that is compressible and that confines a cavity injected with high pressure gas such that the pressure in the cavity is greater than the ambient pressure, and at least a discharging valve installed in the inflatable part and having a valve opening for permitting fluid communication between the cavity and the atmosphere. The discharging valve is deformable in such a manner that when foot pressure is applied on the pad body, the discharging valve is deformed, which, in turn, results in opening of the valve opening, and that when the pad body is relieved from the foot pressure, the discharging valve recovers to its non-deformed state, which, in turn, results in closing of the valve opening.
