Abstract:
A tool head for a hand-guided implement possesses two rotatably mounted tools, wherein a first tool is drivable via a first linkage and a second tool is drivable via a second linkage. The tools are drivable so that they rotate back and forth in opposite directions about a common rotational axis. The first linkage possesses a first drive member coupled to a first coupling member pivotably about a first link axis. The first coupling member is coupled to the first tool pivotably about a second link axis. The second linkage possesses a second drive member coupled to a second coupling member pivotably about a third link axis. The second coupling member is coupled to the second tool pivotably about a fourth link axis. The rotational axis of the tools and the coupling drive axis span a center plane, which runs between the second link axis and the fourth link axis.
Abstract:
A limb and branch trimming apparatus includes a frame having a support platform and an upstanding mast member; a cutting assembly having a plurality of cutting members, wherein the cutting members are rotatably connected at the mast member; and a power source for powering the cutting members independently from the vehicle's power source. The support platform of the limb and branch trimming apparatus is removably mountable to or near the top front portion of a vehicle. The apparatus is used for vertically cutting limbs, branches, and brush along a walkway, pathway, or trail where a tractor would typically be too large to navigate said pathway or trail.
Abstract:
An edger has a main frame that can be advanced controllably relative to subjacent terrain and a cutting assembly on the main frame. A drive rotates the cutting assembly around a first axis. The cutting assembly is configured to produce a trench in underlying terrain as the cutting assembly is rotated by the drive in operation. The cutting assembly has a perimeter edge with a contour extending over an axial distance. A shielding assembly defines a radially inwardly facing surface that resides radially outside of the perimeter edge of the cutting assembly. The radially inwardly facing surface has a shape that is at least nominally matched to the contour of an axial extent of the perimeter edge of the cutting assembly so that as the cutting assembly rotates the radially inwardly facing surface and perimeter edge of the cutting assembly cooperate to each avoid buildup of foreign matter on the other.
Abstract:
An implement (1) comprises a number of work devices (2A,2B,2C) for performing work therewith in an operative position. The work devices comprise an input drive shaft (4) which sets the work devices into operation. At least one work device (2B) of the work devices comprises an output shaft (3B) coupled to the input drive shaft (4A) of the work device and the input drive shaft (4C) of a subsequent work device (2C). The mutual coupling of the input and output shafts of the work devices together forms an efficient single drive line with which the work devices can be driven simultaneously without a separate drive branch being required per work device.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a robot lawnmower including a body frame, a main wheel disposed on both sides of the body frame, a motor to drive the main wheel, a first edge blade provided in a region of the body frame corresponding to the main wheel and coupled to be rotatable with respect to the body frame by receiving a driving force of the motor, and a second edge blade disposed between the body frame and the main wheel to rotate together with the main wheel and cut a grass by a relative rotation of the first edge blade and the main wheel.
Abstract:

Abstract:
Some crops, such as soybeans, grow close to the ground, having a low canopy relative to that of weeds growing interspersed in the crop. A farm implement removes weed growth above the crop canopy. The implement has a chassis with at least three wheels connected to the chassis, a cutting mechanism, mounted at a front end of the chassis, a means for collecting weed growth cut by the cutting mechanism, mounted on the chassis, means for generating and selectively applying rotational torque to at least one of the at least three wheels and means for a user to guide the chassis down the rows in which the crop is grown.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a motor connection system and method for mounting and removing a motor to and from a reel assembly frame of a turf-care vehicle without the use of tools. In various embodiments, the system includes a plurality of shoulder bolts longitudinally extending from a mounting end of the motor and a bearing housing that is mountable to a reel assembly frame of a turf-care vehicle. The bearing housing includes a plurality of self-tightening keyhole slots structured and operable to receive a respective one of the shoulder bolts. Each keyhole slot comprises a interior bezel that is interoperable with the respective shoulder bolt such that rotation of the motor to a Home position will structurally hold and secure the motor to the bearing housing.
Abstract:
A bicycle powered mower comprises a securing member which connects to the front fork of a bicycle, a universal joint portion connected to the securing portion, and a mower connected to the universal joint portion. When a bicycle, with its front wheel removed and the securing portion of the bike mower secured to the front fork, is propelled by conventional means, the mower will move over an area to be mowed. The universal joint portion permits the bicycle to be turned without tilting the bike.
Abstract:
A control system and method for adjusting a rotational speed of a header on an agricultural vehicle based on ground speed of the agricultural vehicle. The header may include a plurality of cutters rotatably actuated with a header actuator. The control system may have a processor that compares a ground speed of the agricultural vehicle with a threshold ground speed. If the ground speed of the agricultural vehicle is below the threshold ground speed, the processor may command the header actuator to rotate the cutters at a constant predetermined rotational speed. If the ground speed of the agricultural vehicle is above the threshold ground speed, the processor may command the header actuator to increase rotational speed of the cutters in proportion to the ground speed of the agricultural vehicle.
