    摘要: Magnets secure a pattern and a material on a magnetically-attractive substrate, so that the material can be cut accurately and precisely in accordance with the pattern. The magnetically-attractive substrate includes a top layer of a resilient or other material that is well-suited to receive a sharp edge to produce a clean cut in the material being cut. A kit according to the present invention includes a plurality of magnets, preferably of various sizes and shapes, and at least one magnetically-attractive substrate. The kit can have a plurality of substrates, fasteners for holding the substrates together, a cutting tool and packaging.

    摘要: An automated means and method for cutting matte board and other soft materials. A matte board having a front display surface and spaced rear surface is placed on a planar support in facing contact with the display surface. After the matte is fixed into position, at least one cutting blade is caused to initially move simultaneously in both a vertical and horizontal direction to make a bevel cut from the rear surface through to the front surface. Once the cutting blade has passed through the front surface, the blade is caused to move horizontally so as to form a bevel cut along a predetermined length of the matte board.

    摘要: The invention relates to a sawing machine of the type comprising a horizontal workpiece support table (1) presenting a straight longitudinal slot (2) defining a cutting line, a sawing tool (4) mounted on a carriage (6) reciprocably movable along a path parallel to and beneath the cutting line, and a longitudinal pressure bar (3) arranged above the workpiece support table (1) which pressure bar (3) extends along the whole length of the cutting line and can be raised and lowered with respect to the said workpiece support table (1) so as to be capable of blocking thereon the workpiece (P) to be sawed. In the sawing machine there is provided a first safety device, consisting of a protective apron extending along both sides of the cutting line, the protective apron being formed by a plurality of slats (10) hingedly mounted, swinging movement through a predetermined angle of oscillation, on longitudinal apron rods (7). A second safety device of a longitudinal inner contact bar (14) and a longitudinal outer contact bar (13) mounted on each side of the pressure bar (3) hanging therefrom with possibility of vertical movement. The inner and outer contact bars (13, 14) are adapted to cooperate, after being lifted, with control devices (19, 20) acting on the control circuit of at least the cutting saw (6).

    摘要: A cutting device for accurate continuous cutting of inherently stiff but flexible strip materials, particularly a sintered plastics powder strip. The device employs two intermittently actuated clamp knife systems adjustable in relation to one another in the travel direction of the strip. A spring-loaded movable clamp in the first system is provided with a one-way coupling member which is locked at the starting position of the systems. Upon triggering of the locked one-way coupling member, the two knives are simultaneously activated. A spring-loaded movable clamp in the second system is directly coupled to the second knife for both directions of its travel. An adjustable feeding device controls the feed of the strip material and the trigger member of the device.
