    摘要: In a method for attaching a connector to a coaxial cable a solder perform is placed upon an end of an outer conductor of the cable. A connector body of the connector is seated upon an interface pedestal and the end of the outer conductor is inserted into a bore of the connector body against the interface pedestal. The outer conductor, the connector body and the interface pedestal contribute sidewalls to form a solder cavity, and the solder perform is heated. A seat may be applied to the interface pedestal to provide a thermal barrier and/or enhanced seal characteristics that are cost efficiently replaceable upon degradation.

    摘要: Roof-Integrated solar panels use junction boxes with short cables and connectors at opposite corners. Panel to panel connection is achieved by integrated hooks keeping the cable and connector at either end of the solar panel from touching the roof's decking or battens during installation. Row to row panel connections use simple or specialized jumper cables. The simple jumper cables connect the last solar panel in a row to the next or first solar panel in the next row. “Mini-String” panel group connections use jumper cable. A jumper cable is used to connect groups of roof-integrated panels into DC to DC power optimizers or DC to AC microinverters.

    摘要: An interconnection element is disclosed that includes a plurality of drawn metal conductors, a dielectric layer, and opposed surfaces having a plurality of wettable contacts thereon. The conductors may include grains having lengths oriented in a direction between the first and second ends of the conductors. A dielectric layer for insulating the conductors may have first and second opposed surfaces and a thickness less than 1 millimeter between the first and second surface. One or more conductors may be configured to carry a signal to or from a microelectronic element. First and second wettable contacts may be used to bond the interconnection element to at least one of a microelectronic element and a circuit panel. The wettable contacts may match a spatial distribution of element contacts at a face of a microelectronic element or of circuit contacts exposed at a face of component other than the microelectronic element.
