摘要:
A method associated with the related structures to prepare cable wires of a cable connector, comprising the steps of: extending a first type and a second type of cable wires through a wire spacer having a notch; securing the first and second types of wires to the spacer; bending the extended cable wires of the first type in the spacer notch; operating the extended cable wires of the second type; returning the extended cable wires of the first type; and operating the extended cable wires of both the first type and the second type. The second type may be coaxial cables and the operating steps on these coaxial cables may include steps of removing outer jackets and braidings.

In a method for attaching a connector to a coaxial cable a solder perform is placed upon an end of an outer conductor of the cable. A connector body of the connector is seated upon an interface pedestal and the end of the outer conductor is inserted into a bore of the connector body against the interface pedestal. The outer conductor, the connector body and the interface pedestal contribute sidewalls to form a solder cavity, and the solder perform is heated. A seat may be applied to the interface pedestal to provide a thermal barrier and/or enhanced seal characteristics that are cost efficiently replaceable upon degradation.

An improved medical electrical lead is disclosed herein. The lead may include a longitudinally extending body having a distal end, a proximal end, a conductive element extending between the distal and proximal ends, and an electrode coupled to the conductive element utilizing a reflow process. The conductive element and electrode may comprise materials that are incompatible.

The method of attaching a pulling head to two or more wires or cables for installation in a conduit, comprising providing a first area for attaching the pulling head, placing two or more wire or cable supply spools on a first side of the first area, placing a receiving spool on the opposite or second side of the first area, feeding a portion of the wires or cables from the wire or cable supply spools onto the receiving spool, placing a terminating table in the first area below the wires or cables, cutting the wires or cables at staggered length from the receiving spool, stripping a portion of the covering from the wires or cables from the outer diameter of the two or more wires or cables, installing a connection onto each of the two or more wires or cables.

Roof-Integrated solar panels use junction boxes with short cables and connectors at opposite corners. Panel to panel connection is achieved by integrated hooks keeping the cable and connector at either end of the solar panel from touching the roof's decking or battens during installation. Row to row panel connections use simple or specialized jumper cables. The simple jumper cables connect the last solar panel in a row to the next or first solar panel in the next row. “Mini-String” panel group connections use jumper cable. A jumper cable is used to connect groups of roof-integrated panels into DC to DC power optimizers or DC to AC microinverters.

A residential wiring system includes a non-metallic sheathed cable having insulated current carrying wires and an insulated grounding conductor. The ground wire may be insulated for the entire length of the sheath, or for only the end portions of the conductor. An insulating sleeve may be used to insulate a portion of the ground wire.

Various pattern transfer and etching steps can be used to create features. Conventional photolithography steps can be used in combination with pitch-reduction techniques to form superimposed, pitch-reduced patterns of crossing elongate features that can be consolidated into a single layer. Planarizing techniques using a filler layer and a protective layer are disclosed. Portions of an integrated circuit having different heights can be etched to a common plane.

It comprises a first phase wherein cables (1) are connected to a base (2) with terminals (3, 3a), characterized in that it comprises a second phase wherein a protective element (4) is provided over at least a part of terminals (3a), which coincides with the part of the connector that is going to be overmoulded, with said protective element (4) being welded to base (2) by ultrasound defining a sealed housing where at least said terminals (3a) are housed, and a third phase wherein the unit from the second phase is inserted into a mould and protective element (4), a part of base (2) and a part of cables (1) is overmoulded, defining a predetermined overmoulded outer shape (5) and sealing the cables-terminal unit.

An interconnection element is disclosed that includes a plurality of drawn metal conductors, a dielectric layer, and opposed surfaces having a plurality of wettable contacts thereon. The conductors may include grains having lengths oriented in a direction between the first and second ends of the conductors. A dielectric layer for insulating the conductors may have first and second opposed surfaces and a thickness less than 1 millimeter between the first and second surface. One or more conductors may be configured to carry a signal to or from a microelectronic element. First and second wettable contacts may be used to bond the interconnection element to at least one of a microelectronic element and a circuit panel. The wettable contacts may match a spatial distribution of element contacts at a face of a microelectronic element or of circuit contacts exposed at a face of component other than the microelectronic element.

In a method for attaching a connector to a coaxial cable a solder preform is placed upon an end of an outer conductor of the cable. A connector body of the connector is seated upon an interface pedestal and the end of the outer conductor is inserted into a bore of the connector body against the interface pedestal. The outer conductor, the connector body and the interface pedestal contribute sidewalls to form a solder cavity, and the solder preform is heated. A seat may be applied to the interface pedestal to provide a thermal barrier and/or enhanced seal characteristics that are cost efficiently replaceable upon degradation.
