摘要： A hinge pin joint for facilitating precise separation of the jaws of a spring clip, comprising: a base cylinder with a threaded bore; supports extending laterally out from said base cylinder; pin supports having means for pivoting; and stabilizing wings extending from the pin supports. In one embodiment, the means for pivoting includes pins that are integral with the pin supports and which extend out laterally from the pin support. An alternate embodiment comprises aligned openings in the pin supports into which pins may be inserted. At least one stopper may be disposed on at least one of the pin supports for supporting the upper shell. The stabilizing wings are configured as plates that are semi-rigidly secured in guide structures within the lower shell.

摘要： A camera system is configured to detachably couple to a camera mount, which in turn can be attached to an apparatus. The camera mount is a spring clamp including two arms, each include a handle component and a jaw component. The spring clamp can be attached to an apparatus when the two jaw components are closed around the apparatus. A strap is adjustably coupled to the spring clamp and is tightened around the apparatus to further secure the apparatus. In some cases, a flexible neck is fastened to the camera mount, and the camera system is detachably coupled to the flexible neck. This allows a mounted camera system to be situated at any desired angle for taking photographs.

摘要： A clip for holding an object on a supporting member comprises a holding clamp and an attaching clamp. The holding clamp has a pair of clamping members with oppositely bowed gripping portions and inwardly arched handles. The oppositely bowed gripping portions form together, when engaged, jaws for holding an object such as a cigar. The jaws are connected together for pivotal movement to cooperate with each other for clamping action upon actuation of their handles. At the juncture point of the jaws with the handles, the clamping members are provided with aligned, apertured supports for receipt of an axial binding post or rivet that extends through the apertures and for holding the clamping members together and in axial alignment. A spring, normally biasing the clamping members towards a closed position is looped around the post with its ends locked against the handles. At the ends of the handles, in the flat portions thereof, the two clamping members are riveted together, and in such manner that the clamping members can rotate 360 degrees in a circle relative to one another. In this way the clamping members can be positioned in straight-line fashion, or rotated at any angle relative to one another.

The clamps may be readily repositioned along the shaft by squeezing the clamp members together (such as against the biasing force of a spring) to more closely align the through-holes with one another and thereby release the engagement of the clamp members with the shaft.

摘要： A novel design of a medical clamp is provided that offers improved retention to and gripping of a patient's finger or penis through the use of an open ended tubular design. The inside of the clamp has a slight 1 to 5 degree taper from top to bottom approximating human dimensions. The interior also has a reticulated surface for enhanced gripability. The exterior is ribbed with through holes for patient gripability and air circulation to reduce under clamp moisture buildup. A condom catheter retention ring is provided along the outer top periphery. The clamp is of a split design and has mirror image halves with matingly engageable hinge halves held together with a stainless steel roll pin and forced into its tubular configuration by a spring that pushes against wing extensions projecting from each clamp half. A thumb screw spans the space between the two halves and allows adjustment of the spring pressure as well as defining the closed diameter of the clamp.
