The extraction and collection mechanism has one or more helicoidal spindles, in contact with the perimeter relief, each one of which is configured to rotate according to a rotation shaft parallel to the longitudinal shaft, the rotation of which gives rise to a push force on the relief, which causes a linear displacement of the hose along the length of the longitudinal shaft.

    摘要: A corrosion resistant enclosure adapted to be recessed below the ground which allows a covering lid to be placed about an opening at the upper end of the housing substantially parallel to the surrounding terrain. The housing is preferably cylindrically shaped, having a larger diameter at the bottom than at the top. However, the housing may take any desired shape, such as rectangular, elliptical, cubic, etc without departing from the intended scope of the invention. The housing also includes a supply of pressurized water which is hooked up to the supply of water previously utilized for the above-ground stored garden hose through any conventional plumbing arrangement. Preferably, valving is utilized within the housing, and a threaded male brass fitting supplied to attach the proximal end of the hose to within the housing.

    摘要: A faucet assembly includes a faucet hub, a hose, a hose retraction mechanism and a storage bag for storing any slack in the hose. The faucet hub includes at least one hose guide that is used to reduce the amount of wear on the hose. The retraction mechanism allows the hose to extend from the faucet hub. Once in the extended position, the retraction mechanism is configured to lock the hose in the extended position. Upon actuation by the user, the retraction mechanism can retract the hose back inside the faucet hub.

    摘要: A wall mountable rack-like structure that may be used to conveniently store and at the same time drain one or more hoses commonly used to convey liquid substances such as hydraulic liquids, fuels, coolants and the like. The structure includes a horizontal bracket having a plurality of projections that define a number slots capable of receiving an end portion of a hose. The horizontal bracket is spaced at a vertical distance below the a horizontal top portion of the rack. The vertical distance is selected so that hose end couplings having spring-biased, quick connect/disconnect valves may be snugly inserted between the bracket and the top portion. When the hose end couplings are inserted between the bracket and the top portion, the tip of the spring biased valve engages the top portion and is depressed, thereby opening the valve and allowing any liquid within the hose to downwardly drain to the horizontal bottom of the rack. The horizontal bottom is provided with an elongated, centrally located opening through which the drained liquid may flow into a receptacle located below.

    摘要: The present invention relates to brushfire fighting equipment and more particularly to a portable brushfire hydrant which can be easily stored and maintained in a condition for immediate use by an individual homeowner to protect his life and property from brushfire damage. In the past, individual home- owners could only utilize the commonly available garden hose which, of course, is grossly inadequate for the purpose or if a self-contained engine driven auxillary pump is available, it is usually not maintained or stored with all the accessory equipment necessary for the immediate and effective use in such fire fighting emergencies. The present invention successfully overcomes these deficiencies by providing a completely portable brushfire hydrant which has an open frame on which a high pressure pump can be securely mounted with all the accessories necessary conveniently disposed in a tightly compact storage condition on the frame for connection to and immediate use with the pump on a moment's notice.
