    摘要: A portable mechanical firehose winder is described. The firehose winder comprises a foldable structure which can be stored and readily transported in a compact, stowed configuration, but can be unfolded in the field to place the firehose winder into a deployed configuration. The firehose winder has a winder mechanism having two pins for securing a firehose connector is mounted on a plate that can be rotated by hand with a crank arm. The firehose winder also has a firehose hold-down mechanism for holding down a firehose as it traverses the winder as well as an adjustable width mechanism for laterally guiding the firehose into the firehose winder mechanism.

    摘要: The hose winding device has an open rectangular parallelepiped skeleton frame made of tubular members. The upper cross members at opposite ends of the frame include a lower wringer roller mounted on a shaft fixed to opposite sides of the frame and an upper wringer roller spaced above the lower wringer roller. The wringer rollers compress and flatten the fire hose as it is cranked through the wringer rollers, thereby removing any water left inside the hose. A pair of spaced apart, vertical guide rollers are mounted closely behind the wringer rollers, the four rollers being configured similar to a winch's roller fairlead, permitting the hose to be smoothly wound on the device without first straightening the hose. A hand crank is removably mounted to opposite sides of the frame halfway between opposite ends of the frame. The crank has a hose coupler retainer extending parallel to the crank's axle.

The frame and plenum reel assembly has an opening for means of air transference through the polymer rotary swivel assembly and the fixed portion of the polymer rotary swivel assembly has connecting means to an external pre conditioned air source.

    摘要: A hose deployment and retrieval system is described that includes a modular reel assembly. The modular reel assembly includes a reel having a hub around which a hose may be wound and a wheel assembly on either side of the hub and spaced to accept the hose there between. The reel assembly also includes an axle in the center of the hub around which the hub can spin and a base holding the axle. A deployment fork assembly includes a reel assembly mount for engaging with the modular reel assembly and a drive mechanism to spin the reel when the deployment fork assembly is engaged with the modular reel assembly, wherein the deployment fork assembly is adapted to mount to a vehicle.

    摘要: The invention provides an extendible member which is configurable between a coiled form and an extended form. The extendible member comprises: a primary member comprising a sheet of material resiliently biased in a slit tube form, wherein the slit tube can be opened out at the slit to assume an open form in which it has a flattened cross section; at least one resilient secondary member having first and second connections to the primary member at respective different circumferential positions on the primary member, wherein in the extended form, the primary member is in its slit tube form and the resiliency of the secondary member causes at least part of the secondary member to displace towards the slit in the primary member to provide torsional and axial stiffness to the primary member, and wherein in the coiled form, the primary member is in its open form and the secondary member conforms to the flattened cross section of the primary member so that primary and secondary member can be co-coiled. Corresponding methods are also provided.

The sides (4, 400) in an expanded configuration extend outwardly away from each outer to provide an opening through which the hose (10, 100) can move. Fastening means secure a hose inlet valve and a hose outlet nozzle (27) to the device. Strap means secure a hose to the base in the contracted configuration. Upon application of a fluid pressure to the inlet valve the hose expands urging the strap means to release the hose from the base.

The first end of the water pipe is placed at the central outlet of the swing frame, while the second end is placed at a preset cross groove at one side of the main frame. There is an outlet limit base provided at the central outlet of the swing frame and a cross-hole is available for connection; and there is a connection base, which is provided within the outlet limit base. The inner end can be connected to the first end of the water pipe, and the outer end can penetrate the cross-hole of the outlet limit base to give shape of a convex provided with a connection end, available with the configurations of water pipe head and sprinkler connector for connection.

    摘要: A hose reel device includes a casing and a rotatable member having a mandrel is rotatably connected to a side of the casing. A first passage is defined through a wall of the casing so that the hose is wrapped around the mandrel via the first passage. A roller and a cam are respectively received in an opening defined in an outer surface of the casing and communicating with the first passage. The cam is connected to a lever on the side of the casing so that a gap between the roller and the cap can be adjusted by pivoting the lever. The water in the hose can be squeezed out by adjusting the gap.
