摘要: To provide an SOx concentration detection device that can detect the SOx concentration in exhaust gas without using a dedicated sensor. As shown in FIG. 4, the current value that flows when a voltage in the limiting current region is applied stays at a constant value (limiting current value) regardless of the elapsed time. On the other hand, the current value that flows when a voltage in the overcurrent region is applied decreases with the lapse of time and approaches the limiting current value 30 seconds after the start of application of the voltage. In this embodiment, the current value difference is defined as “SO2 reduction current,” and the SO2 concentration around the sensor is detected from an integrated value of the SO2 reduction current.

摘要: The sulfur oxides detection system includes a device part comprising a first electrochemical cell having a first solid electrolyte layer, a first electrode, and a second electrode; and a diffusion regulating layer. A power supply supplying voltage is provided between the electrodes as well as a detector detecting a first current correlation parameter, and a control part controlling the power supply and acquiring the first current correlation parameter. The control part controls the power supply so that a first voltage is applied between the electrodes and calculates a concentration of sulfur oxides in the measured gas based on the first current correlation parameter detected by the detector when the first voltage is applied between the electrodes, but it does not calculate the concentration of sulfur oxides in the measured gas when it judges that a concentration of water in the measured gas is not stable.

摘要: A metal compound (50) able to trap a sulfur component in exhaust gas is arranged in a flow path of the exhaust gas, a property of the metal compound (50) changing along with an increase of the amount of sulfur component trapped at the metal compound (50) is measured, and the cumulative value of the amount of SOX actually contained in the exhaust gas is calculated from the measured property. On the other hand, the assumed cumulative value of the amount of SOX, assumed to be contained in the exhaust gas when assuming that fuel or oil of a sulfur concentration assumed in advance is used, is calculated. It is judged if fuel or oil with a high sulfur concentration is being used from the actual cumulative value of the amount of SOX and the assumed cumulative value of the amount of SOX.

摘要: A method to measure exhaust-gas components are determined by exposing a surface of a part to exhaust gas, cleansing the surface exposed to the exhaust gas with a solvent, and measuring the pH of the solvent obtained in the cleansing process. Alternatively, the electric conductivity of the solvent after the exposure is measured. The acidic matter, selectively at least one of NOx or SOx in the exhaust gas can be quantified. The larger the pH value or conductivity, the higher the density of electrolytes, selectively SOx or Nox in the exhaust gas.
