Abstract:
An electronic equipment chassis assembly includes a housing, and a plurality of openings defined in the housing that allow airflow there-through. The openings include at least one intake opening defined in the front surface of the housing and at least one exit opening defined in the rear surface of the housing. The chassis also includes an air filter, and one or more rails disposed within the housing defining receiving slots that releasably secure a first plurality of circuit boards, and a second plurality of circuit boards, which second plurality of circuit boards are orthogonally oriented relative to the first plurality of circuit boards. The chassis includes an airflow assembly proximate the top surface of the housing, and one or more output fans proximate the rear surface of the housing. The airflow assembly and the output fans balance airflow throughout the chassis.
Abstract:
Telecommunications enclosures are described in this document. In one aspect, a telecommunications enclosure includes side panels having seals and an enclosure top connected, independent of a frame, to top ends of the side panels. The enclosure top has an enclosure top outer end that extends between the side panels and includes a seal. An interior panel is connected, independent of a frame, to side panels and has an interior panel outer end that extends between the side panels. The interior panel is separated from the enclosure top by a first distance and separated by a second distance from bottom ends of the side panels. A removable door is formed to engage the seals when the removable door is secured to the frameless telecommunications enclosure.
Abstract:
Exemplary embodiments provide a hybrid buffer pool for a database that includes a plurality of data pages contained in storage. The hybrid buffer pool comprises: a shared buffer pool of page frames containing dirty data pages that are modified after reading that will be written back to storage; an immutable buffer pool that temporarily contains read-only data pages from the storage; and a page multiplexer that identifies which ones of the data pages from storage to store in the immutable buffer pool based at least in part on information from a query processor.
Abstract:
A heat exchanger door is provided which includes a door assembly spanning at least a portion of the air inlet or outlet side of an electronics rack. The door assembly includes an airflow opening which facilitates air ingress or egress of airflow through the electronics rack. The door assembly further includes an air-to-coolant heat exchanger and a structural support. The heat exchanger is disposed so that airflow through the airflow opening passes across the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger includes a heat exchanger core and a heat exchanger casing coupled to the core. The core includes at least one coolant-carrying channel which loops through the casing. The structural support is attached to the heat exchanger casing to define with the casing a tubular door support structure. The looping of the coolant-carrying channel(s) through the heat exchanger casing resides within the tubular door support structure.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes: a plurality of slots where a plurality of electronic instruments are mountable; and an electronic instrument inserted in any of the plurality of slots; wherein the electronic instrument includes a flow rate limiting member that protrudes to a side of an adjacent slot where no electronic instrument is mounted and limits a flow rate of cooling air flowing through the adjacent slot.
Abstract:
A casing for sheltering electronic components (52, 83) is disclosed, comprising:—an air inlet (110) at a first position of the casing (11) and,—an air outlet at a second position of the casing (11). The air inlet (110) comprises a first plate (112) with at least one first aperture (190) therein. The inlet (110) also comprises a second plate (114) that is arranged between the first plate (112) and an inner part of the casing (11). The second plate comprises at least one second aperture (192).
Abstract:
A cooling system for cooling warm air within the interior of a closed electrical cabinet containing electronic equipment or the like, comprising an enclosure adapted to be mounted on an exterior surface of the cabinet. The interior of the enclosure is separated into an internal circulation region and an external circulation region. Ambient air for removing heat from a condenser coil is drawn into the external circulation region through the bottom of the enclosure and the ambient air is also discharged out the bottom of the enclosure at a higher velocity than the ambient air being drawn into the bottom of the enclosure.
Abstract:
An assistance apparatus according to the disclosure generates monitor area data on the basis of dimension data of rack rows that are each constituted by a plurality of racks and that are arranged in a first direction in a three-dimensional space, the dimension data including the length of each rack row in the first direction and the height thereof in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, interval data that includes an interval, in a third direction, between the rack rows adjacent to each other in the third direction, the third direction being perpendicular to the first and second directions, field-of-view angle data that includes the field-of-view angle of each temperature sensor, and temperature sensor position data that indicates certain temperature sensor positions; and includes a display control unit that displays monitor coverage information on a display device on the basis of the monitor area data.
Abstract:
Exemplary embodiments provide a database query processing system comprising a hybrid buffer pool stored in a computer main memory coupled to a processor, the hybrid buffer pool comprising: a shared buffer pool of page frames that contain dirty data pages that are modified and will be written back to storage; and an immutable buffer pool that temporarily contains read-only data pages from the storage, wherein the shared buffer pool is different from the immutable buffer pool. A page multiplexer that identifies which ones of the data pages from storage to store in the immutable buffer pool based at least in part on information from a query processor.
