    摘要: A resonant power converter is provided with capacitive switching mode protection. The converter produces output current and voltage according to an operating frequency, which is desirably maintained above a resonant frequency for the power converter. A controller regulates the operating frequency based on an output current relative to a reference value, which may be provided via a dimming interface. A capacitive switching mode is determinable, based on a positive relationship in a detected direction of change in an output value relative to a detected direction of change in the operating frequency. When the capacitive switching mode is determined, a preceding operating frequency is enacted and the controller disables regulation of the operating frequency therefrom. Inductive mode switching is determinable with a negative relationship between detected direction of change in the output value relative to direction of change in the operating frequency, wherein regulation of operating frequency is renewed.

The thermally protected LED light module may include a heat sink assembly thermally coupled to an LED light source, and a thermal protector. Further, the thermal protector is electrically coupled to the LED light source and a power source where the thermal protector breaks the power provided to the LED light source from the power source when the thermal protector detects heat at or above a threshold temperature.

    摘要: A controller for a driving circuit of power source comprises a frequency generator, a pulse width modulator, and a driving device. The frequency generator comprises a latch circuit. The frequency generator provides a pulse signal at a first frequency after the controller is started. After the frequency generator receives an indicating signal, the frequency generator changes the frequency of pulse signal from the first frequency to a second frequency and locks the frequency of pulse signal at the second frequency. The pulse width modulator provides a PWM signal according to the pulse signal and a feedback signal which indicates a status of electric power supply of the driving circuit. The driving device controls semiconductor switches according to the PWM signal.
