The controllable thermal warming device may also include a sensor to provide the operating characteristic to the controller.

The blade may have bendable tabs for securing it to the insulating support.

    摘要: Electrical systems, especially elongate heating systems, include means for monitoring circuit continuity and/or absence of ground faults. The systems comprise a switching device, e.g. a thermostat, as well as a circuit breaker. When the switching device is on, a relatively high current passes through the circuit and when it is off, little or no current passes through the circuit. In one embodiment, a small controlled residual current flows in the circuit even when the switching device is off, and a current-detecting device signals when a discontinuity causes the current to drop below the expected value for the residual current. In another embodiment, the switching device is placed so that the heater (or other electrical load) is at a positive potential with respect to ground even when the switching device is off, and a ground fault indicator is used to compare the currents in the two legs of the circuit and to signal when a ground fault causes the currents to differ. Preferred circuits make use of both these embodiments. Preferably the fault circuits are powered by the same power source as the circuit which is being tested, but the fault indicators continue to signal faults even when the circuit is no longer powered, and both correction of the fault and powering of the circuit are required to cancel the fault indication.

    摘要: A control system for an electrical heating device and in particular for an electrical sauna stove. The system comprises three heating resistances or groups of heating resistances connected to different phases as well as a coil switch arrangement which can be controlled by means of a control switch and possibly by means of a temperature limiter. A temperature controller has been arranged so as to connect and disconnect, respectively, the loads of the different resistances stepwise, for example, with intervals of 5* to 10*C. Each of the said loads consists of a resistance connected to one phase or of a part of such resistance. The temperature controller consists of an at least three-pole controller arrangement for each phase and the coil switch arrangement consists of one three-pole coil switch connected in series with the controller arrangement.

    摘要: A bifunctional thermostat device for a heating type refrigerator having both an electric heater and a gas heater comprises a bellows whose internal pressure is controlled by a temperature sensitive member connected by a capillary tube to the bellows. A pivoted L-shaped lever has a first leg engageable with the movable outer end of the bellows and a second leg connected to operate a normally closed snap action switch controlling energization of an electric heater. The lever is biased in one direction by a spring connected to a cam follower having an end projecting outwardly and into engagement with a temperature setting cam. A diaphragm type valve controls the supply of gas to the gas heater and the diaphragm is spring biased to an open position. A pin secured to the diaphragm engages a lever assembly pivoted intermediate its ends, and a rigid rod is engaged between a free end of the lever assembly and the first arm of the Lshaped lever. When the internal pressure of the bellows decreases, due to a decrease in the refrigeration temperature, the L-shaped lever pivots to snap open the switch and to rotate the lever assembly to cause the pin to move the diaphragm toward a valve closing position.
