Abstract:
Ultrasonic transducers that include membrane films and perforated baseplates. An ultrasonic transducer includes a baseplate having a conductive surface with a plurality of apertures, openings, or perforations formed thereon or therethrough, and a membrane film having a conductive surface. The membrane film is positioned adjacent to the apertures, openings, or perforations formed on or through the baseplate. By applying a voltage between the conductive surface of the membrane film and the conductive surface of the baseplate, an electrical force of attraction can be created between the membrane film and the baseplate. Varying this applied voltage can cause the membrane film to undergo vibrational motion. The dimensions corresponding to the size and/or shape of the apertures, openings, or perforations formed on or through the baseplate can be varied so that different regions of the baseplate produce different frequency responses, allowing the net bandwidth of the ultrasonic transducer to be increased.

Abstract:
The present invention discloses a splicing type electret loudspeaker. The splicing type electret loudspeaker may comprise a plurality of electret loudspeaker units. Each electret loudspeaker unit may comprise a plurality of connection ports, and these connection ports may be disposed around the edge of each electret loudspeaker unit. In particular, the connection ports of each electret loudspeaker unit can respectively connect to one of the connection ports of another electret loudspeaker unit; in this way, these electret loudspeaker units can connect to each other in parallel, such that the power input signal and the audio input signal can be transmitted to all electret loudspeaker units to drive them.
Abstract:
A speaker structure includes a membrane, an electrode which has a plurality of holes, a frame holding member and at least one set of supporting members. The frame holding member forms an exterior shape of the speaker structure and holds the membrane and the electrode at two opposite sides. Each of the set of the supporting members has a geometric structure and is placed in a space opposite to a soniferous hole region between the electrode and the membrane, so as to prevent the membrane and the electrode from contacting.
Abstract:
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing and an electro-acoustic transducer disposed on the inner surface of the housing. The electro-acoustic transducer includes an electret diaphragm, a conductive plate and at least one spacer. The electret diaphragm is positioned on the inner surface of the housing and has a film body and an electrode layer. The film body has static charges and the electrode layer is formed on the lower surface of the film body. The conductive plate has a plurality of openings and is stacked on the upper surface of the film body. The spacer is positioned between the electret diaphragm and the conductive plate to keep a predetermined distance therebetween.
Abstract:

The electret diaphragm is positioned on the conductive plate and has a film body and an electrode layer. The film body has static charges carried and the electrode layer is formed on the upper surface of the film body. The fluorescent layer is positioned between the lower surface of the film body and the conductive plate.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an electret transducer with solar power. The provided electrets transducer includes a solar power supply device, an amplifier circuit having a first input terminal coupled to the solar power supply device and a second input terminal coupled to an audio signal input terminal, and an electret loudspeaker coupled to an output terminal of the amplifier circuit. The amplifier circuit receives a first voltage level via the first input terminal and boosts the first voltage level to a second voltage level, and receives a first audio signal via the second input terminal and amplifies the first audio signal to a second audio signal. The electret loudspeaker coupled to the output terminal of the amplifier circuit receives the second audio signal and outputs a sound corresponding to the second audio signal.
Abstract:
An electro-acoustic transducer is disclosed. The electro-acoustic transducer includes an electret diaphragm, an orifice plate and a plurality of dividing structures. The dividing structures, disposed between the electret diaphragm and the orifice plate, are cross-shaped. Each of the dividing structures includes two extending portions intersecting with each other.
Abstract:
A squeeze-stretch (also called, herein push-pull) loudspeaker or driver, such as an electret, can operate in an active noise reduction (ANR) earplug application. Other embodiments of a squeeze-stretch loudspeaker, such as piezoelectric bimorph and balanced armature, operate in a similar way, although they will differ in detail. Other applications, such as earphones for communication and entertainment, will benefit from the compact arrangement of components in a squeeze-stretch design. The advantages are a greater sound output from a smaller package, a smooth frequency response, and because of the diaphragm arrangement, less sensitivity to vibration.
Abstract:
A driving interface device adaptive to a flat speaker is introduced herein. The driving interface device is coupled with an external sound source for receiving sound signals, and boosts voltage levels of the sound signals to drive the thin flat speaker without using an external power source. In one embodiment, an impedance component is provided in the driving interface device for coupling to the external sound source, so as to drive the flat speaker.
