摘要: In some examples, a computing device includes a first display device coupled to a second display device by hinges. After determining that the computing device has been moved from a first orientation to a second orientation, the computing device may receive ambient light data from ambient light sensors associated with the first and second display device, temperature data from temperature sensors associated with the first and second display device, and color data from color sensors associated with the first and second display device. After determining that power is being received from an external power source or that the user prefers the display devices may be color matched, the computing device may perform one or more color adjustments based on the ambient light data, the temperature data, and the color data, thereby reducing a difference in a perceived color between the first display device and the second display device.

Recording data is generated such that a recording amount of the first color material and a recording amount of the second color material are larger than a recording amount of another color material, and such that a pixel where it is determined that the first color material is to be recorded and a pixel where it is determined that the second color material is to be recorded are at positions different from each other.

Embodiments where a narrow output color gamut lacks a fully-defined 3D color space, semi-fixed-hue gamut compression may be performed by adjusting parameters provided to a fixed-hue compression module capable of mapping 3D color space representations between well-defined gamuts.

After the table generating unit sets one of the generatrices shared by the two adjacent empty circles whose radius ratio is outside a specific range as a target point, and causes the radius ratio of the two empty circles to be within the specific range by changing at least one radius of the two empty circles, the table generating unit generates the conversion table that sets a color that corresponds to an intersection point corresponding to the target point among the intersection points of the two empty circles, as the definition colors.

The method includes acquiring a validation result on a first color validation chart with a sensing device, the sensing device configured to read a color validation chart, the color validation chart having one or more color patches, and wherein the validation result compares a color accuracy of each of the one or more color patches from the first color validation chart to a target color; and determining an order of each of the color patches in a second color validation chart to be printed based on the validation result on the first color validation chart, wherein the order of the color patches in the second color validation chart is determined based on color patches that do not match the target color.
