摘要： A method of operating an optical module/printer module system through a changer such that either the optical module or the printer module is driven. A first module and a second module is defined such that if the first module is an optical module, the second module is a printer module and if the first module is a printer module, the second module is an optical module. The operating method includes the following steps. In step one, the changer engages with the first module and drives the first module. In step two, the changer rotates so that the changer detaches from the first module and engages with the second module. In step three, the changer drives the second module.

摘要： The present invention discloses the system and method of a scanning module with an incorporated printer head. The method includes using a scanning head of scanner to scan an objects image pattern, using the printer head of scanner to print the object image pattern on a printing paper. Wherein the printer head and the scanning head use the same motor drive and driving component, and uses a control module to adjust the driving mode of the scanning head and the printer head. The system includes a scanning module for scanning an object image pattern, a printing module for printing the object image pattern, wherein the printing module is incorporated in the scanning module, a motor drive for driving the scanning module and the printing module, and a control module for adjusting driving mode of the scanning module and the printing module, thereby showing the object image pattern on a printing paper by using the printing module function.

摘要： An image reading/writing head (1) includes an integrated circuit for reading (10) provided with a plurality of light receiving elements for reading an image on a document (D) by receiving, via optical lenses (12), light reflected by the document placed on an image reading surface provided in a surface of a casing (2); a plurality of heating elements (9) disposed in a surface different from the reading surface in the casing (2) for forming an image on recording paper by heat; and an integrated circuit for writing (11) for controlling these heating elements (9). The integrated circuit for reading (10), the heating elements (9) and the integrated circuit for writing (11) are provided in a main surface of a substrate (7) held by the casing (2), and light reflecting member (13) is provided for making the light after passing the optical lenses (12) enter the light receiving elements.

摘要： There is provided an image forming apparatus comprising: a readout sensor for reading out an original which is illuminated by a light source; a converter for converting image information which is read out by the readout sensor to a binary signal; printing heads for recording the image information on a recording paper in response to an output of the converter; and a driver for relatively carrying the readout sensor with regard to the original or recording paper. A plurality of sets of those readout sensors, converters and printing heads are arranged in a line on the same substrate. An amount of scan movement of this apparatus is detected and the driving operations of the light source and the image readout sensor or printing head are synchronized for every unit moving amount, so that occurrence of variation in concentration of the reproduced image and a risk of fire can be prevented. Also, a remarkable energy saving effect can be obtained in case of driving the apparatus by a battery.
