Abstract:
In aspects of the disclosure, a method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. In one aspect, the apparatus determines if a connection to a PLMN has been established. In another aspect, the apparatus builds a FQDN based on the determination by attempting to build the FQDN using each of the prioritized FQDNs in order of priority until the FQDN is built, building the FQDN using a PLMN ID of the PLMN if it is determined that the PLMN is found in the list, or building the FQDN based on the wildcard PLMN if it is determined that the list comprises the wildcard PLMN. Further still, the apparatus selects an ePDG based on the FQDN.
Abstract:
Methods and entities of routing messages to or from a network entity in an IP network is disclosed. A function mode is indicated in a message routed to or from the network entity.
Abstract:
A domain name registration service permits registrants to register names that are defined by a regular expression that may include one or more wildcard values in any portion of the domain or subdomain name. A domain name server utilizes pattern matching with regular expressions, such as REGEX systems, to parse incoming domain name requests to identify text strings that conform to the domain defined by the registered regular expression. Other components assign economic value to defined patterns and prevent conflicts between registered patterns and domain names.
Abstract:
A method of combining digital certificates at a prescheduled time is provided. The method includes receiving, by a processor, data from a first certificate and data from a second certificate and determining a certificate combination date. The certificate combination date directs a combining of the first certificate and the second certificate to form a combined certificate. The method further includes detecting the occurrence of the certificate combination date and combining the first certificate and the second certificate to form the combined certificate in response to detecting the occurrence of the certificate combination date.
Abstract:
A centralized host server domain can be setup to process all the A (Address) wildcard DNS records of matching non-existent domain names. The left-most label of the non-existent domain will be identified as the “DOMAIN PREFIX” and it will be extracted from the non-existent domain name of the Universal Resource Locator (URL) HTTP Request that is sent by a client. The host server will use the extracted “DOMAIN PREFIX” and perform a search against a centralized database where Domains' output URLs are defined and mapped to “DOMAIN PREFIX” values. The search result, which can be a single URL or multiple URLs, of the same or different protocol, will be sent back to the client as the Response. Domain Prefixes values and their associated keywords that are stored in the centralized database and mapped to output URLs will be accessed and utilized by new and existing internet resources search engines.
Abstract:
The present invention concern methods and apparatuses for handling public identities in an Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem, IMS, network. According to a method an HSS receives a request message from an S-CSCF. The request message includes a public identity. The HSS sends a response message including the registered wildcarded public identity to the S-CSCF if the request message includes an indication that the public identity is unregistered, the request message does not include a wildcarded public identity indication, and the public identity, included in the request message, matches with a wildcarded public identity, registered in the HSS. The S-CSCF is thus enabled to fetch a user profile using the wildcarded public identity.
Abstract:
A method of routing a request in a communication system. The method comprises searching routing information associated to an identity, and prioritizing either one of the routing information related to the identity for the first type and the routing information related to the identity of the second type. The request is then routed by using the prioritized routing information. The invention advances correct routing in a system where different identity types are available.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a method of setting up a call from an originating user in an internet protocol (IP) multimedia subsystem (IMS) network. The originating user provides a signalling message containing an originating identifier of the user to a first node of the network. According to the method, a first node of the network receives the signalling message. The first node performs a verification on whether the originating identifier is associated with a wildcard identifier, wherein the wildcard identifier identifies a plurality of identifiers which are entitled to using a group service. If the originating identifier is associated with a wildcard identifier, the first node forwards the wildcard identifier and the originating identifier to a further node for setting up the call.
Abstract:
A method and system for dynamically negotiating a device name for establishing a communications session between a host computer and a client computer are provided. A host computer receives from a client computer, a device name that includes as part of the device name at least a wildcard character. The host computer replaces the wildcard character with one or more characters that can be used in device names, to generate a unique device name that is not already being used by the host computer.
Abstract:
A server provides information to a client via a network. The server includes a receiving module for receiving a request for providing the information from said client. The providing request contains a piece of access site information on an access site through which the client accesses said network. The server further includes an acquisition module for acquiring a piece of information corresponding to the access site information, and a transmitting module for transmitting the information acquired to the client.
