    摘要: A receiver includes first, second, and third signal processors and a controller. The first signal processor provides a first signal in response to detecting a first attribute of a received signal. The second signal processor provides a second signal in response to detecting a second attribute of the received signal. The third signal processor provides a third signal in response to detecting a third attribute of the received signal and provides packet data. The controller enables the first signal processor in response to a receive enable signal, controls the third signal processor to provide the packet data in response to receiving the first signal and the third signal, and initializes the first signal processor and the third signal processor in response to receiving the first signal and the second signal.

    摘要: In accordance with some embodiments, in a time division duplex system, the transmission direction may be changed dynamically, for example in response to instantaneous traffic conditions. Particularly in some embodiments an eNodeB or base station may, in response to instantaneous traffic conditions, change the direction of transmission in certain subframes. In some embodiments this can be done in a way which is backwards compatible with prior generations of Long-Term Evolution (LTE) radio systems.

    摘要: A system and method have been provided for programming synchronization features of a multidimensional digital frame structure. Such a frame structure acts as a digital wrapper and includes overhead, payload, and forward error correction (FEC) sections. Words in the overhead section are used to selectively synchronize the broadcast frame structure at a plurality of network nodes. The described invention permits the frame synchronization bytes (FSBs) to be made programmable, so that the system and method are flexible for changes in communication protocols, as well for the selective exclusion of nodes. This flexibility also impacts the number, the location, bandwidth, and the bit error rate (BER) of the located FSBs.

    摘要: Systems and methods for conveying multiple low-bit-rate data streams over a data transport medium which is configured to transport data in a single, high-bit-rate data stream. In one embodiment, a plurality of low-bit-rate signals are received and a corresponding data rate is determined. Each of the signals is formatted in frames comprising a payload and overhead data. The high-bit-rate signal is also formatted in frames comprising a payload and overhead data, but the frames (including payload and overhead) contain more bits than those of the low-bit-rate frames. The payloads of the low-bit-rate frames are mapped into the payloads of the high-bit-rate frames. The overhead and timing data of the low-bit-rate frames are mapped into the unused portion of the overhead of the high-bit-rate frames. After the high-bit-rate signal is transported, the payload, overhead and timing data of each of the low-bit-rate signals is extracted, and the corresponding signals are reproduced.

The apparatus includes a phase modulator for phase-modulating the one-bit signals as original signals to add data of inverted phases to the one-bit signals.
