    摘要: In a double-loop negative feedback low noise amplifier having double negative feedback paths by a feedback transformer and a feedback resistor added to a cascode amplifier comprising transistors and a resistor, a phase compensation circuit comprising a capacitor and a resistor is added between the output terminal of the double-loop negative feedback low noise amplifier and the input terminal of the cascode amplifier, i.e., the input terminal of the input transistor, and a phase compensation circuit comprising a capacitor and a resistor is added to the upper-stage transistor of the cascode amplifier, i.e., the input terminal of the upper-stage transistor. Those phase compensation circuits enable a low noise negative feedback amplifier which maintains a high feedback loop gain to a high frequency band, has a wider bandwidth than a conventional one, and has a high dynamic range.

    摘要: A low noise amplifier having a wide operating frequency band and a high dynamic range is provided. A transformer having a secondary winding connected between an input terminal to which an input signal is applied and a positive differential output terminal, and a primary winding connected between a negative differential output terminal and an input node is provided as a feedback circuit between a cascode amplifier circuit, which includes transistors and a resistor, and an output circuit, which includes a transistor and a constant current source. Selective use of a transformer whose leakage inductance has an adequate value as the feedback transformer can realize a low noise amplifier which has a wide operating frequency band and a high dynamic range.

    摘要: A photodiode receives an infrared signal transmitted from a transmitter. A current distributing unit outputs a detection current Id output from the photodiode as a first detection current Id1 and a second detection current Id2 to a subsequent first current-to-voltage conversion amplifier and a subsequent second current-to-voltage conversion amplifier respectively. The first and second current-to-voltage conversion amplifiers convert the detection currents into voltages with current-to-voltage conversion gains g1 and g2. The current-to-voltage conversion gains g1 and g2 of the first and second current-to-voltage conversion amplifiers are set such that ranges of signal levels in which the distributed detection currents Id1 and Id2 can significantly be amplified differ from each other.

    摘要: A low noise amplifier having a wide operating frequency band and a high dynamic range is provided.     摘要: An amplifier system includes a constant current unit which produces a constant current in response to a source voltage from a source voltage terminal. An emitter follower unit has a base, an emitter and a collector, an input signal being supplied to the base, the emitter being connected to the constant current unit, the source voltage being supplied to the collector, the emitter follower unit producing an output signal at the emitter in response to the input signal. A current regulating unit regulates the constant current in response to a collector current fed into the collector of the emitter follower unit, so that the constant current is fed from the emitter of the emitter follower unit into the constant current unit.
