    摘要: A method of detecting a diode fault in an AC signal rectifier circuit, the AC signal rectifier circuit including a plurality of diodes, and being arranged to supply a rectified output voltage to a load, wherein the method includes the steps of deriving an operating value indicative of the ratio of the voltage magnitudes of a first harmonic frequency and another harmonic frequency of the rectified output voltage across the load; and determining whether a fault has occurred in one or more diodes on the basis of the derived operating value. The first harmonic frequency is preferably the fundamental harmonic frequency, and/or the another harmonic frequency is preferably the 6th harmonic frequency.

    摘要: An electrical apparatus for monitoring electrical continuity includes a number of input circuits each associated with a respective arm of a multi-phase rectifier circuit the continuity of which is to be monitored. Each input circuit includes a comparator which generates a train of pulses P while an input current persists in the arm. If a discontinuity arises in an arm for a first preset interval of time a monostable in that arm generates a first trigger signal. If the discontinuity persists for a further preset interval of time another monostable, common to all the arms, triggers an alarm via a bistable circuit.

    摘要: A convertor connection for connection to a DC circuit includes current sensing members for forming a quantity corresponding to the direct current of the convertor connection. An indicating arrangement is provided for indicating asymmetrical operating conditions, which includes a first band pass filter connecting to the current sensing members which let through frequencies in a frequency band located between zero and the fundamental frequency of the AC component during undisturbed operation. When the output signal of the first filter exceeds a predetermined value, through a second filter an asymmetry indicating signal is emitted. The release of an output signal is prevented by a delay arrangement if the duration of the asymmetrical operating condition is less than a predetermined time.
