    摘要: The invention relates to a vehicle headlight bulb with a bulb receptacle, a spiral wound filament (2) which is arranged inside the receptacle for the bulb (1) and a lamp base which has a metal base bushing (3) wherein the end (11) of the bulb receptacle (1), which is sealed by means of a molybdenum film seal (112, 113) is fixed. According to the invention, the metal base bushing (3) comprises at least one molded tab (32) which lies adjacent to the sealed end (11) of the bulb receptacle (1), in the overlapping area of the molybdenum films (112, 113), with current supply wires (23, 24) which protrude from the bulb receptacle and which are connected thereto, in order to reduce thermal load in the above-mentioned overlapping area during operation of the bulb.

Further, the placement of light sources at the focal point of said reflective surfaces aids in optimizing the amount of light focused in a desired direction.

    摘要: A composition for the manufacture of an opaque silvery coating on a glass surface is provided. The composition comprises a mixture of at least two metal powders. The metal powder mixture contains carbonyl iron and aluminum, and a carrier liquid for forming a suspension of the metal powder mixture. A method for manufacturing an opaque silvery coating for a lamp having a glass envelope is also provided. In the method, a suspension comprising a mixture of carbonyl iron and aluminum powders in a carrier liquid is applied onto the envelope of the lamp. The suspension is dried, and thereafter the composition remaining from the suspension is burned at a temperature above 500° C. A lamp with a glass envelope and a single layer opaque coating covering at least a part of the glass envelope is also disclosed. The opaque coating comprises 50 to 80 weight % carbonyl iron and 20 to 50 weight % elementary aluminum.

    摘要: A filament comprises a generally thin metal component, such as a sheet, ribbon, or foil. The filament comprises at least one emitter, at least one current-condensing structure and a tab on each end of the at least one emitter. Each tab is connectable to a support system, comprising for example a lead and attachment post. When a current is passed through the filament, the current-condensing structure establishes current flow through the filament resulting in a desired temperature distribution across the emitter, for example a substantially uniform temperature distribution. A predictive tool for determining a geometry of a filament to provide a desired temperature distribution is set forth. The filament may be curved, and methods and systems for providing a curved filament are also provided. Attachment systems are further disclosed for attaching an emitter to a support structure.
