    摘要: To provide a vacuum valve pressure diagnosis device for an opening/closing device equipped with a vacuum valve, the diagnosis device which permits downsizing of the vacuum valve and achieves enhanced safety and reliability. Accordingly, the vacuum valve pressure monitoring device is disposed in a vacuum breaker including: a main circuit opening/closing part including the vacuum valve and an insulating frame covering the vacuum valve; and an operation mechanism part for opening/closing a contact of the vacuum valve. The pressure monitoring device for vacuum valve includes: a first electrode disposed on one side surface of the insulating frame and grounded via an impedance; a second electrode disposed on another side surface of the insulating frame and grounded via a switch; and a potential measuring device connected in between the impedance and the first electrode.

    摘要: A medium- or high-voltage switch (10), comprising a high-vacuum enclosure (111); first and second contacts (121, 122) that are mounted to be movable in translation relative to each other inside the enclosure (111) between an open position in which the first and second contacts (121, 122) are spaced apart; and a closed position in which the first and second contacts (121, 122) are in electrical contact. The switch (10) further comprises a conductor (210, 220, 230) arranged inside the enclosure (111) in such a manner that there exists a pressure threshold inside the enclosure (111) from which partial discharges are generated by said conductor, at least when the first and second contacts (121, 122) are in the closed position and the medium or high voltage is applied to the switch (10). The invention further relates to a switch assembly and to a method of testing such a switch.

    摘要: Capacitors (5a, 5b) are provided in the insulators of bushings (4a, 4b), respectively. One ends of the capacitors (5a, 5b) are connected to central conductors (3a, 3b) side, and the other ends are connected to a tank (1) side at the ground potential. When a discharge signal from the outside of the tank (1) reaches the capacitors (5a, 5b) through the central conductors (3a, 3b), the capacitors (5a, 5b) work as a filter to attenuate and prevent the signal in the frequency band of the discharge waveform from propagating to the inside of the tank (1). When an antenna (7) placed in the tank (1) receives a signal in the frequency band of the discharge waveform, a discharge detection unit (20) determines that a discharge inside the tank has been detected.

    摘要: A vacuum-type electrical switching apparatus (10) for high voltage electrical power. A vacuum pressure condition in a vacuum pressure space (21) surrounding electrical contact points (18) is monitored and movement of the contact points between open and closed positions is automatically prevented when the pressure exceeds a predetermined threshold in order to avoid destructive arcing between the points. A sensor (32) provides a vacuum signal (34) responsive to the vacuum pressure condition. A controller (36) automatically inhibits movements of the contact points when the vacuum signal indicates that the vacuum has degraded. A contactor (38) may be placed in series with power supply (28) and a solenoid (24) used to move the contact points, with the contactor being automatically opened by the controller in response to the degraded vacuum condition. An electromechanical opening inhibitor (74) may be energized by the controller to mechanically prevent the contact points from being moved in response to the degraded vacuum condition.
