    摘要: A three-keyboard electronic musical instrument of the type generating binary-coded primary key data representative of notes played on the keyboards, and secondary key data representative of unplayed notes that are correlated with the played notes in some musically favorable way. Prior to introduction into a multi-channel tone generator circuit, part of the primary key data and all of the secondary key data are directed into a key data memory having storage channels corresponding in number to the sounding channels in the tone generator circuit available for such data. A discrimination data memory has a plurality of storage locations, corresponding to the storage channels of the key data memory, for storing binary-coded data representing the discrimination between the primary and the secondary key data stored on the corresponding storage channels of the key data memory. In response in part to the output from the discrimination data memory a memory control circuit causes the key data memory to store the primary key data in preference to the secondary key data when the key data memory has no empty channel for each incoming data, by invalidating a secondary key data already in storage.

    摘要: An electronic keyboard musical instrument comprising a multiplexed keyboard and a programmable microcomputer interfaced between the keyboard and a system of capture tone generators. The loading circuitry for the microcomputer, which is interposed between it and the keyboard multiplexer output, monitors the serial data stream and transmits only key change information to the microcomputer. The microcomputer controls the assignment and deassignment of tone generators for the accompaniment, solo and pedal manuals based on the key change information transmitted to it. Fill note information is taken from the captured accompaniment keyers and compared with the series of binary words for the current scan of the manuals in order to produce a keydown pulse when there is identity of pitch between the captured accompaniment tone generators and the scanning of the solo manual. These keydown pulses are added to the main multiplexed data stream through a window gating circuit that is opened only during a portion of the octave immediately following the scanning of the highest note of the solo manual.

    摘要: A polyphonic, keyboard-type electronic musical instrument capable of automatic production, in response to key depressions on upper and lower keyboards, of "fill notes" which bear the same note names as the depressed lower keys but which, preferably, fall within an octave below the lowest pressed upper key at every moment. The instrument is of the type wherein each depressed key is coded into key data in accordance with a binary "key code" composed of a note code and an octave code. The note code identifies the note name of each key, whereas the octave code identifies the octave to which the key belongs. Upon depression of a key on each of the upper and lower keyboards, the note-coded data derived from the key date representative of the depressed lower key are combined with the octave-coded data derived from the key data representative of the depressed upper key if the note name of the depressed lower key is below that of the depressed upper key. If the depressed lower key is of a note name above that of the depressed upper key, on the other hand, then the note-coded data of the depressed lower key are combined with octave-coded data indicative of an octave just below that of the depressed upper key. The key-coded fill-note data thus formed are fed into a multichannel tone generator circuit, along with the key data representative of the depressed upper and lower keys.

    摘要: A keyboard electronic musical instrument comprises a note information processing device capable of processing note information required for automatic arpeggio and automatic bass performances. This note information processing device includes a generation circuit for generating a plurality of note information representing a plurality of notes to be sounded in relation to the key depression, a selection circuit for sequentially selecting a note information designating a note to be sounded from among the plurality of note information from the generation circuit in accordance with a predetermined priority order; an output circuit for delivering out the note information selected by the selection circuit, the selection at each sequence being conducted dependent on the selection at the preceding sequence. The selection circuit includes a first selector which selects note information of higher (or lower) notes than the note information outputted at the preceding sequence and a second selector which selects note information of the lowest (or highest) one from among the information selected by the first selector. The note information processing device is used commonly for the automatic arpeggio performance and the automatic bass performance in a time division manner.

    摘要: A musical instrument, such as an organ, includes conventional circuitry, and in addition a series of key-operated switches associated with one manual and respectively connected to a series of electronic switches that are normally nonconductive, each keyoperated switch and each electronic switch being connected in series between a source of dc-keying potential and a corresponding tone signal source, and a second series of keyoperated switches under the control of another manual, each such switch being resistively connected to control the electronic switch of a noncorresponding key along with musically adjacent noncorresponding keys. By this arrangement, in response to playing a chord on the first mentioned manual and a single note on the other manual, harmony is automatically added.
