A power source circuit is provided with a first terminal to which first voltage is input; a second terminal to which second voltage is input; a comparator being connected to the first terminal and the second terminal and comparing the first voltage and the second voltage; a digital circuit averaging, integrating, and digital pulse width modulating a first digital signal output from the comparator; a PWM output driver amplifying a second digital signal output from the digital circuit; and a smoothing circuit smoothing the amplified second digital signal.

    摘要: A display device comprising a transparent substrate bonded to a portion of a printed circuit board forming the display envelope, the circuit board including a plurality of electrical conductors. A first portion of the electrical conductors has one end forming the cathode electrodes of the display and its other ends connected to electrical control elements mounted on the circuit board adjacent the display envelope. Anode electrodes of the display are mounted on the substrate and are connected to a second portion of the electrical conductors by metal connectors located within the display envelope. The second portion of the electrical conductors are also connected to the electrical control elements which control the operation of the display.

    摘要: A driving circuit for a gas-discharge display device includes a pair of switching members and the secondary windings of a transformer wired in series with one of the switching members. The switching members in response to receiving out-of-phase control signals alternately apply a low voltage pulse to the display device. The secondary windings of the transformer output continuously a high voltage pulse in phase with one of the switching members. Upon the generation of appropriate control signals enabling the operation of the switching members, a voltage of sufficient magnitude is applied to selected cell segments in the display device to fire the cells. The transformer together with the low voltage pulses are driven by a high frequency clock to provide a high intensity display operation.

    摘要: In a flat discharge panel having a cathode adapted to perform a discharge in cooperation with an anode through a main discharge space, being applied with a discharge voltage, and adapted to perform another discharge in cooperation with an auxiliary anode through an auxiliary discharge space, being applied with an auxiliary discharge voltage, said cathode being connected in series to a resistor, a method of driving the flat discharge panel characterized in that a memory function or characteristics is imparted to a matrix panel consisting of the flat discharge panel by shifting the discharge from the auxiliary discharge space to the main discharge space through raising the voltage applied to the main discharge space while lowering the voltage applied to the auxiliary discharge space, and by shifting the discharge from the main discharge space to the auxiliary discharge space by raising the voltage applied to the auxiliary discharge space while lowering the voltage applied to the main discharge space.

    摘要: The circuit of the invention is adapted for operating multipleposition display devices having several groups of display cathode segments or elements positioned in a row, with corresponding segments in each group connected in common, an anode electrode associated with each group of display segments, and an auxiliary electrode being common to and electrically isolating the groups of segments. The cathode segments, together with an anode, can be selectively energized to display a character at any desired cathode group or position and the auxiliary electrode inhibits electrical discharge between the cathode segments and any other than the associated anode. The circuit includes a separate driver circuit for each cathode and for each anode and a circuit for biasing the ''''OFF'''' cathodes, the ''''OFF'''' anodes, and the auxiliary screen electrode a predetermined difference in potential from the anode supply voltage and independent of the amount of current conducted by the cathodes or by the auxiliary electrode itself.
