    摘要: Provided is a device which can present three dimensional information by a simple structure and in which the information can be viewed with the naked eye. A plurality of rotary line-light-source units are arranged. The line-light-source units provide different pieces of image information in different directions, in order to produce a parallax between both eyes. A three-dimensional image control unit performs a control to provide thinned image information at corresponding positions to the plurality of line-light-source units and successively present the entire three-dimensional image information by scrolling. As a result, a viewer can recognize the three-dimensional image moved and presented by the scroll control.

The system provides for a continuous display of viewable indicia of at least one of text or images to provide the patient messages. A projector is engaged to a ceiling of the residence of the patient to maintain it out of reach and tampering from the patient. The projector displays the messages upon a wall of the residence allowing the patient to watch TV or use a computer and still receive ongoing messaging including reminders and instructions on daily or other tasks. Employing the system a remote user such as the child of a patient can provide instruction and reminders to the patient allowing them to live with minimal supervision.

    摘要: Provided is a liquid crystal display device 10 that divides “3m” video signal lines into groups of three lines according to an order of arrangement, and drives the video signal lines in the group within one horizontal period in a time-division manner. A pixel array 17 is configured such that columns each including pixel circuits for left eye 21 arranged along a vertical direction of a display screen and columns each including pixel circuits for right eye 22 arranged along the vertical direction of the display screen are arranged along a horizontal direction of the display screen. When driving the video signal lines in a time-division manner, a writing order to pixel circuits 18 within one horizontal period and a polarity of a voltage to be applied to the pixel circuits 18 are changed every two scanning signal lines. This improves image quality of both an image for left eye and an image for right eye, thereby improving image quality in stereoscopic display.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for synchronizing sound with an illuminated animated image is provided. First and second image frames are defined on a planar surface using a plurality of light transmitting media. A plurality of light sources are positioned adjacent to the plurality of light transmitting media such that the first image frame and the second image frame are illuminated independently by selectively activating each light source in accordance with a pre-programmed illumination sequence. A speaker plays a first sound when the first image frame is illuminated and a second sound when the second image frame is illuminated. A driving device, coupled to the light sources and the speaker, is used to synchronize the illumination of the image frames with the sounds.

    摘要: The analog driver for a display device which is controlled by current, such as an LED, includes a strobed analog input which charges a storage capacitor. The voltage across the storage capacitor is fed to the positive input of a comparator. The negative input of the comparator receives the voltage from a feedback resistor which is in series with the drive voltage, the drive FET (with a gate connected to the output of the comparator) and the light emitting device. Additionally, a reset FET is provided in parallel with the storage capacitor. Displays can be manufactured by a series of panels, each of the panels including an array of these drivers and light emitting devices, along with appropriate control circuitry.
