Abstract:
The invention relates to a tamper-evident adhesive security tape or label comprising a flexible backing substrate based on a flexible polymeric film, which is characterized in that one surface of the backing substrate 1 bears the following applied layers: a) an embossed varnish layer 2, b) a semitransparent metal layer and/or a high refractive index layer 3, c) a first, partial release varnish layer in the form of letters, signs, symbols, lines, guilloches, numbers or writing 4, d) one or more varnish layers having optical properties 5 e) a second, full-area release varnish layer 6, f) a further full-area varnish layer 7, g) a self-adhesive coating 8, where, in the regions not coated with the release varnish layer 4, the adhesion of all the layers to one another and the adhesion of the layer 8 to the article 9 to be secured are greater than the adhesion of the layer 5 to the layer 6 or of the layer 6 to the layer 7, and where, in the regions coated with the release varnish layer 4, the adhesion of all layers to one another and the adhesion of the layer 8 to the article 9 to be secured are greater than the adhesion of the layer 3 to the layer 4 or of the layer 4 to the layer 5, and where in particular the adhesion of the layer 3 to the layer 4 or of the layer 4 to the layer 5 is lower than the adhesion both of the layer 5 to the layer 6 and of the layer 6 to the layer 7.
Abstract:
A tamper-evident adhesive security tape or label includes a flexible backing substrate based on a flexible polymeric film. One surface of the backing substrate bears an embossed varnish layer, a semitransparent metal layer and/or a high refractive index layer, a partial release varnish layer, one or more varnish layers having optical properties, and a self-adhesive coating. In the regions not coated with the release varnish layer, the adhesion of the layer to the layer and the adhesion of the layer to the article to be secured are greater than the adhesion of the layer to the layer, or the adhesion of the layer to the layer and the adhesion of the layer to the layer are greater than the adhesion of the layer to the article to be secured.
Abstract:
A label including a plastic base layer (e.g. polypropylene), an overlaminate layer made of an engineering plastic, bonded to the base layer with a pressure-sensitive adhesive, the overlaminate layer having a thickness of between 30 and 40 microns, and a release liner placed over a self-adhesive surface of the base layer.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a shipping label that includes: a protective layer having at least a portion that is transparent; an adhesive layer connected to a side of the protective layer; and a sheet connected to the protective layer via the adhesive layer. The sheet includes a removable outer marginal portion. The protective layer has a corresponding outer marginal portion free of the sheet, after the outer marginal portion of the sheet is removed, for attaching the label to the package. The sheet includes a first inner portion containing shipping slip information arranged on a first side of the sheet to face the package. The sheet includes a second inner portion containing shipping address information arranged on the first side of the sheet. The second inner portion can be reversed front-to-back so that the shipping address information faces away from the package for displaying the shipping address information thereby.
Abstract:
It is provided a multi-layer material comprising a self-adhesive layer coated on the reverse side of a first web, a release layer coated on the front side of a second web, the release layer being attached to the self-adhesive layer of the first web, wherein on the reverse side of the second web a cold seal adhesive layer is coated. Furthermore, a multi-layer tag manufactured from said multi-layer material is provided.
Abstract:
One exemplary goal of the disclosed inventions is to reduce the amount of waste matter in a label to be attached to an adherend with part of the label protruding. A label is to be attached to an adherend with part of the label protruding and includes a label base section and an overcoat layer provided on the front surface of the label base section, and the back surface of the label base section is provided with a first adhesive section formed from a coating of a first paste (self-adhesive paste) which remains self-adhesive after coating, and a second adhesive section formed from a coating of a second paste (adhesive paste), which cures when a predetermined time duration elapses.
Abstract:
Generally, the identification system can be used to identify any type of naturally occurring or manufactured good via a vertical display(s). By implementing this system, a quick and efficient identification of goods can be found in areas of disorganization or areas containing a multitude of items that are similar in size and/or appearance. The vertical displays may have removable or permanent indicia thereon that identify the particular good. The indicia may be words or images or some combination thereof. The displays may either be removably or permanently adhered to a good or may even be integrated with the good or a container holding the good therein.
Abstract:
A method of producing a label with a mount comprising: forming an adhesive layer on a release sheet; and forming a label base material above the adhesive layer by fixing at a fixing temperature so that the label base material is contact with a coat layer that is formed from a resin having a softening point lower by not less than 10° C. than the fixing temperature of the label base material.
Abstract:
Postage stamp assembly includes a backing substrate having a front face and indicia relating to a game of chance on the front face, a postage stamp having a printed postage value thereon, and adhesive for removably adhering the postage stamp to the front face of the backing substrate. The indicia relating to a game of chance is exposed only when the postage stamp is removed from the backing substrate. The postage stamps are sold at a price higher than the printed postage value and money from the difference between the printed postage value of the postage stamps and the price thereof forms a pool, at least a part of which is used for prizes for the game of chance. Part of the pool might also be used for a charitable purpose or societal benefit, and an indication to this effect printed on the postage stamps.
Abstract:
A multi-layer construct is provided for simultaneously displaying old and new product information. The construct includes a liner that has removable and permanent portions. A removable adhesive is an ultraviolet-resistant adhesive that is applied to a front surface of the first portion of the liner and a permanent adhesive is applied to a front surface of the second portion of the liner. A transparent film is secured to the removable adhesive and a printable label is secured to the permanent adhesive. The first portion of the liner can be separated from remainder of the construct so that the transparent film can be applied removably over the old product information. The new product information can be printed on the printable label.
