摘要: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a transparent member, a display positioned under a transparent member that includes a plurality of pixels, an image sensor positioned under some areas of the display, a memory, and a processor. The processor obtains a first image at least based on light output through at least some of the plurality of pixels and reflected by an external object coming into contact with the transparent member using the image sensor, performs authentication on the external object at least based on the at least one template using the first image, generates a second image of the external object at least based on the first image when quality of the first image corresponds to a given condition based on a result of the authentication, and performs authentication on the external object at least based on the at least one template using the second image.

摘要: An electronic device with a display and a fingerprint sensor displays a fingerprint enrollment interface and detects, on the fingerprint sensor, a plurality of finger gestures performed with a finger. The device collects fingerprint information from the plurality of finger gestures performed with the finger. After collecting the fingerprint information, the device determines whether the collected fingerprint information is sufficient to enroll a fingerprint of the finger. When the collected fingerprint information for the finger is sufficient to enroll the fingerprint of the finger, the device enrolls the fingerprint of the finger with the device. When the collected fingerprint information for the finger is not sufficient to enroll the fingerprint of the finger, the device displays a message in the fingerprint enrollment interface prompting a user to perform one or more additional finger gestures on the fingerprint sensor with the finger.

摘要: Apparatuses, systems, and techniques are disclosed for rapidly identifying potential candidates within a pool of enrolled fingerprint images for unconstrained fingerprint matching with an inquiry fingerprint. The techniques may include applying one or more window regions to both enrolled and inquiry fingerprint images and determining a minutiae score for each such window region based on the minutiae within that window region. One or more components of the minutiae score for window regions of the inquiry image may then be compared against similar components in the minutiae scores for window regions of the enrolled fingerprint images, and enrolled fingerprint images having window regions with minutiae scores sufficiently similar to the minutiae score of a window region of the inquiry fingerprint image may be selected for later unconstrained matching with the inquiry fingerprint image.

摘要: Technologies are presented herein in support of a system and method for performing fingerprint recognition. Embodiments of the present invention concern a system and method for capturing a user's biometric features and generating an identifier characterizing the user's biometric features using a mobile device such as a smartphone. The biometric identifier is generated using imagery captured of a plurality of fingers of a user for the purposes of authenticating/identifying the user according to the captured biometrics and determining the user's liveness. The present disclosure also describes additional techniques for preventing erroneous authentication caused by spoofing. In some examples, the anti-spoofing techniques may include capturing one or more images of a user's fingers and analyzing the captured images for indications of liveness.

摘要: There is provided a method of storing a set of biometric data templates, which emanates from a biometric object, among a plurality of biometric data templates, wherein each biometric data template comprises biometric data from only a part of a biometric object. The method comprises aligning biometric data templates with each other in view of the biometric object of the plurality of biometric data templates which comprises partially overlapping biometric data with at least one other biometric data template; determining the set of biometric data templates to be stored; and storing the set of biometric data templates. The determining of the set of biometric data templates to be stored comprises assigning a matrix of cells covering at least partially the aligned biometric data templates; determining, for each of the aligned biometric data templates, cells comprising distinguishable biometric data; and determining a combination of biometric data templates which comprises an amount of cells comprising distinguishable biometric data which fulfil a predetermined criterion. A method of biometric matching is also disclosed, and also a biometric matching apparatus and a computer program.

摘要: Embodiments of apparatus, computer program product, and method for verifying fingerprint images are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method of verifying fingerprint images includes receiving an inquiry fingerprint image of a user, identifying pattern characteristics of the inquiry fingerprint image, identifying minutiae characteristics of the inquiry fingerprint image, determining a weighted combination of the pattern characteristics of the inquiry fingerprint image and the minutiae characteristics of the inquiry fingerprint image, where the weighted combination comprises a pattern matching weight and a minutiae matching weight derived in accordance with a separation of a first empirical probability density function of genuine fingerprints from a second empirical probability density function of impostor fingerprints, and verifying the inquiry fingerprint image based on a set of fused scores computed using the weighted combination of the pattern characteristics of the inquiry fingerprint image and the minutiae characteristics of the inquiry fingerprint image.

摘要: A method, device, and terminal for improving a fingerprint template are proposed. The method includes: receiving first feature information of a recorded fingerprint image based on preset fingerprint feature types; determining a degree of matching between the first feature information and second feature information based on the second feature information corresponding to the fingerprint feature types in a registered fingerprint template; determining whether the degree of matching is higher than or equal to a preset compensation threshold value; and acquiring a compensation image having no intersection with the fingerprint template from the fingerprint image if the degree of matching is higher than or equal to the compensation threshold value, and adding the compensation image to the fingerprint template.
