Abstract:
A device for holding a photoreceptor sheet onto a drum of an electro-photography printing device comprises first and second holding surfaces that are configured to hold an edge of the photoreceptor sheet from opposite directions by pressing against the sheet in a substantially perpendicular direction with respect to the surface of the sheet, wherein at least the second holding surface is pre-loaded.
Abstract:
In the information recording an reproducing method and apparatus according to the present invention, a piece of picture image information is recorded as an analog quantity or a digital quantity an information carrying medium in a planar manner at a high density, charge potential is read for outputting electric signals to correspond to the recorded picture image information and then the outputted signals are printed out by means of various display unit or output device, with high quality and high resolution as well as ease processing of the information. The information carrying medium provides a long period of storage of information and enables stored picture image information to be repeatedly reproduced with a picture quality according to need. Particularly, it is, according to the present invention, possible to read and output local potential of an information carrying medium with predetermined scanning density at a desired time, and so pictures of high quality may be output as a silver salt photograph is taken and reproduced by optically scanning the film. Thus, the present invention may be applied to a wide field including photographing, copying and printing.
Abstract:
A packaged integrated information recording system has a plurality of information recording media radially arranged on a disk substrate. Each of the recording media comprises a liquid crystal recording medium including a liquid crystal-polymer composite layer with polymer balls filled in a liquid-crystal phase, stacked on a first electrode layer and a photoelectric sensor including a second electrode layer and a photoconductive layer formed on a transparent substrate. The liquid crystal recording medium and photoelectric sensor are stacked directly, or through an interlayer on each other while the liquid crystal recording layer and photoconductive layer are opposed to each other. The recording media may also be arranged in a row on a film substrate provided with feed holes on both side edges and received in a closable case such that it can be drawn. Alternatively, the recording media on a film substrate may be received in a packaging case having a window openable and closable by a shutter to unroll the film. Alternatively, the information recording media may be arranged in a row on a card substrate and fixedly received in a packaging case having window openable and closable by a shutter. The above arrangements allow images to be successively recorded by exposure to light and read.
Abstract:
An electrophotographic printing plate precursor having satisfactory mechanical strength and water-resistance and suitable to the direct electrical supply system, and a method for development thereof are disclosed. The electrophotographic printing plate precursor comprises an electrically conductive support having thereon a photoconductive layer and a back layer, the back layer being provided on the surface of the support opposite to the photoconductive layer, wherein the back layer comprises at least an outermost layer having a surface resistivity of from 1.times.10.sup.10 to 1.times.10.sup.14 .OMEGA. and an inner layer having a surface resistivity of less than 1.times.10.sup.10 .OMEGA..
Abstract:
An insulating host polymer is heavily loaded with resistive short fibers to form resistive films in the resistance range of 10.sup.2 to 10.sup.8 ohms/square having thicknesses in the range of 1.0 micron to 500 microns. The particular choice of resistive short fibers and film forming binder provides specific systems of needed resistivity and mechanical properties. Fibers are chosen having a bulk resistivity lower than a required resistivity of the resulting film and are loaded in an amount above a percolation threshold of the fibers in the film. Fine tuning of the resistivity is made by adjusting the amount of fibers in the film.
Abstract:
An improved slide for electrophotographic film which comprises a pair of slide frame forming panels hingedly connected along adjacent edges enabling the panels to be folded together in superposed relation. The inner surfaces of each panel is coated with a pressure sensitive adhesive which bonds an electrophotographic film to one panel. A transparent protective film or a second photographic film may be bonded to the other panel. A conductive foil strip is affixed along an edge of the film for providing a grounding contact required for imaging the film in a duplicating camera and a release paper is disposed over the adhesive coating of the other panel. Subsequent to imaging, a slide is formed by stripping off the release paper and folding the panels so that the adhesive coating bonds the inner surfaces together with the film being retained therebetween.
Abstract:
This application relates to a cassette opening and closing mechanism including rigidly mounted pins adapted to cooperate with grooves in the adjacent side walls of the top cover of the cassette to rotate the top cover between open and closed positions upon insertion and withdrawal of the cassette from a cassette-receiving station. Means are also provided to prevent rotational movement of the cassette base member as the top cover is being rotated between the open and closed positions.
