摘要: The invention relates to a method and system for detection of an object in proximity to an electronic device, which method comprises the steps of:—producing, via the processing unit using one or more parameters relating to a loudspeaker, a controlled audio signal;—amplifying using an amplifier at least said controlled audio signal, thereby producing an amplified audio signal at an amplifier output; wherein an amplitude of the controlled audio signal is such that the amplified audio signal is less than or equal to an amplitude determined to be safe for the loudspeaker in view of the one or more parameters,—analyzing at least one of said one or more parameters relating to the loudspeaker to detect a change in response of the loudspeaker; the change in response being caused by an object that is present in the acoustical path of the loudspeaker,—determining, based upon the analysis whether the object is located in close proximity to the electronic device.

摘要: Ultrasonic audio processing circuitry and a method useful in ultrasonic presence detection. An ultrasonic burst generator produces an ultrasonic burst signal at one or more ultrasonic frequencies, and an equalizer equalizes that ultrasonic burst signal according to frequency response characteristics of the speaker and microphone at those ultrasonic frequencies. Driver circuitry drives a speaker with the ultrasonic burst signal, which may be combined with an audible audio signal. An ultrasonic separation filter separates an ultrasonic portion from a signal received at a microphone, and processing circuitry is provided to determine a delay time of an echo corresponding to the ultrasonic burst signal in that separated ultrasonic portion of the received signal. In another aspect, the equalizer equalizes an ultrasonic portion of the signal received at a microphone, according to frequency response characteristics of the speaker and microphone at the ultrasonic frequencies of the burst.

摘要: A computer includes a processor and a memory, and the memory stores instructions executable to receive range data from a plurality of ultrasonic sensors on a vehicle, determine two ellipses from respective pulses of the range datadetermine a plurality of intersections of the two ellipses, exclude a subset of the intersections, and actuate a component of the vehicle based on the nonexcluded intersections. The ultrasonic sensors have respective fields of view, the fields of view overlap, and the range data includes distances traveled by pulses emitted by the ultrasonic sensors and received by the ultrasonic sensors. Each pulse is emitted by a different one of the ultrasonic sensors than received that pulse. Excluding the subset of the intersections is based on the fields of view.

The technique may include receiving an electromagnetic return signal from the electromagnetic wireless signal. The technique may include detecting a potential target in the room based on the electromagnetic return signal. The technique may include determining that the potential target is in the room using a second sensor. Responsive to determining the potential target is in the room, the technique may include saving a training signature of the electromagnetic return signal for training a machine learning model. This technique can be repeated to obtain a set of training signatures corresponding to potential targets. The technique may include training, using the set of training signatures, the machine learning model to detect when a target is in the room using the first sensor.

The work machine may include a frame, a power unit, a locomotive device, and the LiDAR system. The LiDAR system may include at least one laser, at least one sensor, a bracket, and a control unit configured to execute an object detection program. The LiDAR system is configured to exclude from its object detection program a plurality of beams emitted toward the work machine through a design of the bracket and/or software methods of the control unit. The method may include storing a database of exclude coordinates and using the database to filter out undesirable data samples from the object detection program.

摘要: An ultrasonic sensor in the invention includes an ultrasonic transmitter, an ultrasonic receiver, and a detector. The ultrasonic transmitter transmits pulse-shaped ultrasonic waves to a thin plate to excite the thin plate. The ultrasonic receiver receives direct waves and reflected waves among the ultrasonic waves propagating in the thin plate excited by the pulse-shaped ultrasonic waves, the direct waves propagating only in the thin plate, and the reflected waves radiating outward, then reflected by the object, and returning to the thin plate. The detector detects the object present near the thin plate on the basis of a difference between a time at which the ultrasonic receiver receives the direct waves and a time at which the ultrasonic receiver receives the reflected waves.
