The purpose of the present invention is to provide a determining device and a determining method to determine whether an inspected jet nozzle is defective by inspecting the jet nozzle for injecting a jet stream with long ground penetrating distance at a stage before installing in a construction site where a large diameter jet grouting method is used. To achieve this purpose, with this invention, in which a nozzle to be inspected is mounted onto an outlet port, a jet stream is ejected from a jet stream generating device, and measurement data measured by a pressure sensing unit when the jet stream impacts the pressure sensing unit is processed with a controlling device (for example, a computer), a nozzle to be inspected is determined to be a non-defective product if a first ratio is no less than a first prescribed value, a second ratio is no less than a second prescribed value, and a third ratio is no less than a third prescribed value.

An NIR analyzer with the optical probes across a pipe, or in a bypass configuration, after a stabilizer in an oil or condensate production plant. Prior to use, liquid samples from the plant are analyzed in a chemical lab to obtain reference vapor pressure or compositional values. A chemometric model using known techniques is then built with the captured absorption spectra and the reference lab results. Preprocessing methodologies can be used to help mitigate interferences of the fluid, instrument drift, and contaminate build up on the lenses in contact with the fluid. The chemometric model is implemented through the NIR analyzer as the calibration curve to predict the vapor pressure or other values of the flowing fluid in real time.

An automatic measuring instrument for an unconventional natural gas content includes a parsing tank, a thermostatic water bath box, a gas collection measuring cylinder, a balance measuring cylinder, a liquid storage tank, a data acquisition and control system, an upper computer, and a lifting device for driving the gas collection measuring cylinder and the balance measuring cylinder to move relative to the liquid storage tank, wherein both the lower ports of the gas collection measuring cylinder and the balance measuring cylinder are placed below the liquid level of the liquid storage tank. The parsing tank is placed in the thermostatic water bath box. A gas guide tube A is connected to the parsing tank and the gas collection measuring cylinder. A gas guide tube B is connected to the balance measuring cylinder and the outside atmosphere is fed therein. By the adoption of the measuring instrument, the constant-pressure isasteric automatic continuous measurement of the content of natural gas contained in an unconventional natural gas reservoir sample is achieved. Moreover, the measuring instrument is simple in structure, reliable in measurement and analysis results, convenient in operation and high in measurement accuracy.

The present invention relates to a method for diagnosing an internal fault of an oil-immersed transformer by analyzing the composition ratio of dissolved gas in oil that is caused when an internal fault of the oil-immersed transformer occurs. According to the present invention, a method for diagnosing an internal fault of an oil-immersed tranformer by extracting and analyzing dissolved gas in oil from the oil-immersed transformer for which an internal fault is to be diagnosed comprises: a first step of calculating the composition ratio of each of CH4/H2, C2H2/C2H4, C2H4, C2H4/C2H6, and C2H4/CH4 from among the extracted dissolved gas in oil; a second step of determining whether the internal fault is an electrical fault or a thermal fault using the calculated composition ratios of CH4/H2 and C2H2/C2H4; and a third step of determining, if said internal fault is determined to be an electrical fault in the second step, whether the electrical fault is a partial discharge (PD), a discharge of low energy (D1), or a discharge of high energy (D2) using the calculated composition ratios of C2H2/C2H4 and C2H4/C2H6.

A canister for measuring the natural gas content of rock cores which (1) has an inner core-containment bag made of non-permeable plastic which can be flash evacuated, collapsing around the core and thus minimizing the amount of air present and improving the quality of the gas analyses and (2) which prevents the released gas from reacting with the outer canister. A procedure for using gas-sampling bags to periodically collect the gas released from the core so that (1) the volume of released gas can be measured at a later date using more convenient and precise laboratory methods, (2) the gas can be readily transported and stored, and (3) the gas can be easily submitted for analysis.

An apparatus for performing dissolved gas analysis on electrical insulating oil. The apparatus is connectable to a first oil source and a second oil source and has a respective sample cell for each source, an analysis cell and a gas analyser. Each sample cell is selectably connectable to said analysis cell to allow fluid communication therebetween, while the other sample cell is isolated from the analysis chamber. The apparatus allows dissolved gas analysis to be performed on samples from more than one source while minimizing the effects of cross-contamination between samples.

A system that allows an operator to determine the true vapor pressure of a liquid composition from the bubble-point pressure for a given temperature at which the lightest component starts to flash includes a heated chamber with a retractable plunger. A sample of the liquid to be tested is trapped in a chamber at a pressure above the bubble-point pressure. A plunger inserted into the chamber gradually reduces the chamber internal pressure by retracting the plunger out of the chamber at a uniform (synchronous) speed from the start to the resting plunger rod position. The chamber pressure is recorded at each pressure increment reduction. The bubble point-pressure is determined from the point of inflection in the pressure decline curve.
